About a year and a half ago I purchased a therapeutic spa at Save on Spas from the Exhibition in Toronto. We didn't plan on purchasing a spa but I've been looking for over 5 years for the right type of spa to help with my neck injury. I had spent thousands of dollars on medical and non medical treatments which gave me little or no pain relief without being stoned for the lack of a better word. I decided to talk with a rep at the exhibition and explained my dilemma. Within an hour we found a 7'x7' therapeutic hot tub that suited my height, weight build and my medical issues. I needed a spa that would treat my neck with various types of jets, pressures, speed and be fully adjustable with a headrest. This specific spa had five working seats and one cooling off seat. My most effective is the "Captains Chair". The nice part is that all the seats help all the muscles in one form or another on my body.
This was the first time any company went to this level to help me with my particular problem and geared the right tub for my needs. The sales staff were extremely knowledgeable when they understood exactly how the spa was going to be used. As well the extra warranty, financing and extras were presented so that I was comfortable enough to buy a spa right on the spot.
Now the installation was amazing and so far the service has been outstanding! I had an 8'x8' slab and some landscaping installed by Collier's Maintenance in Ajax. Max is the guy you want to talk to about slabs and landscaping 416-822-6694. Save on Spas field staff are certified electricians. Tyler is the main guy who comes over and provides you with the safest, cleanest estimate using the best materials from all the quotes I received. When installing the spa they used the most less intrusive method to prevent and interior damage to the house. They used 3 guys to do the work and filled the tub, provided the necessary training, and chemicals I needed for my specific purpose for the spa.
We had one major problem with the spa for a about 2 weeks. Tyler came over 4 times to fix the problem. On the last visit he pulled the main board and replaced it. Since then we have had no major or minor problems. Tyler can provide chemicals, parts covers right to your door instead of driving to the head office.
Now! That's what I call service. If you want a spa remember 3 things.
1. Know what you want it for. i.e. medical, pleasure, partying, swimming etc...
2. Have a good poured concrete pad near your house for winter use. (Call Max)
3. Ask allot of questions and feel good about the answers enough to buy one.
It took me 5 years but I found the right spa for me.
Thanks again guys!
