Save On Spas

Terrible customer service. I had a problem that required customer service, I called they never returned my calls. After 5 months, I finally sorted out a solution and with e-mail confirmation, they just avoid and never came through. Not professional, we are talking $500, I can't imagine what this firm would do with $10,000. Not good people or service.

We’ve had out hot tub since June 2012. We have never had any problems with this tub. It was money well spent . We enjoy it very much especially in the winter. It’s not that hard on hydro .

Sure, we were suckered in by the sales pitch at the CNE in the summer of 2016 and made a very costly purchase. Once we signed the dotted line, that was it, everything went downhill, from sales to accounting to service. If you factored in the tax, concrete pad, delivery and crane, you're looking at $40,000, not including electrical and hookup. With this price, we might as well install a full sized pool, complete with gazebo, perimeter fence and pool house!
We purchased and paid for a new spa, however, what we received was a unit that they were still draining when it was being delivered as well as some rust on one of the grab bars. After only a few months, the rust manifested into something scary.
The lesson here is do your homework. Don't believe anything they tell you...the electricity bill is not just slightly more...it is more than doubled our usual bill! ($400 vs. $180 monthly).

We purchased our first SPA from this place thinking everything is great. DO NOT believe any statements in the Pre-SALE they are all untruths. We were told our hot tub would not need any chemicals hence the higher price. THIS WAS A FALSE STATEMENT. We were told that based on our location and our house age there would not be any issues with electrical when hooking it up. THIS WAS A FALSE STATEMENT. We were told that we would receive a free cruise with airfare. THIS WAS A FALSE STATEMENT.
DO NOT GET SUCKERED.

Bought a hot tub and large gazebo enclosure. Since day 1 we’ve had nothing but problems. Screens breaking, windows popping out, etc. We were told it had a 15 yr warranty, and Steve the manager has done nothing but give me the run around on repairs. Would not buy from these guys

We purchased our hot tub at the 2017 boat show at the CNE. It was delivered and set up in April. We have extremely enjoyed our tub. The people from save on spas have all proven to be very professional and helpful. We would recommend this company and their products 100%

We bought a Viking hot tub from the Save on Spa people at the CNE strictly based on the quality of the hot tub. We got the usual high pressure sales pitch you expect at these shows. We scheduled delivery for mid October as we were moving into a new build and wanted to have the tub site well prepared. The first problem came when we received a call stating they couldn't meet the date they arranged. Had to call the electrician and cancel that date. The second date they promised, they actually met. That was the best part of our dealings with save on spas: the delivery people were excellent and the lead person went out of his
way to ensure the tub was placed exactly where we wanted it.
We were advised we had to attend "spa school". This was a joke. After I set up a date to attend, the confirming email back stated "spa school Vaughan". There was no Vaughan location and after placing a phone call, was told we had to go to Mississauga. We had already traveled for 1-1/2 hrs and were rather put out at traveling another 40kms. We got a very lame apology for their mistake. None of the mgr's in Mississauga wanted to speak to us. At spa school, we learned nothing we had already learned about our tub. We did however, get a detailed printout of a water sample they asked for, but I did have to remind them to test it.
In closing, we are very pleased with the hot tub we purchased, but not the overall experience we received by the seller.

Great staff friendly and helpful love our tub would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a hot tub. Always willing to help with any questions we may have

We purchased a Dynasty Spa at the Home Show in Mississauga a couple of years ago. We have a Club Series Spa which is very good. The staff at Save on Spas has been very helpful especially since this is our first one. We have visited the Mississauga showroom a few times to buy supplies and ask questions. The customer service has been great! I have no hesitation in recommending them and the products they sell.

We bought our spa at Save on Spas in 2008. Over the time we have had the spa Save on Spas have been helpful and had everything we've needed. Recently the original cover needed to be replaced. Four years after the usual life span of a cover. Ahmar, who sold us the spa in the first place nine years ago, was extremely helpful and generous with his time and to be sure we had what we needed at a good price.
