I started getting some odd bites and at first I thought they were just flea bites but after a few days this did not seem right and with some research into various bites to compare what I had been experiencing, bed bugs most closely resembled what I had. After this a nervous check of my wooden bed frame yielded one bed bug.

Upon finding this I did a quick look through all the most popular and highest rated exterminators on HomeStars. Muhammad was by far the most impressive sounding and I liked that other reviewers had mentioned many times that he was an honest operator and as a bonus he seemed to genuinely care about easing any fears that people had.

That very night I called him at what must have been 10:30PM and he picked up right away and agreed to come the next day to consult. He asked me a few questions regarding what I had experienced and gave me some tips to help in the meantime. I had taken a photo of what I had found and emailed it to him after the call. He responded immediately with his thoughts. Given how late it was he was very accommodating and stayed on the phone with me to answer any and all questions I had. From the very first point of contact he was very patient and helped to put me at ease.

The next day he arrived on time at the scheduled hour and proceeded to look over my room until he found actual evidence of an infestation. Muhammad is very honest and will not recommend his more expensive exterminator services unless he actually finds evidence of an infestation. If there is no evidence he will provide cheaper options to monitor the situation (if it is only one male bug then there is no reason to do anything extensive). After this he quizzed me about where else I had moved in the house and carried items from my room. He was very patient and went room to room in the house checking other bedrooms and sofas where I might have been. Luckily no other evidence of an infestation was found and he recommended his services for the one bedroom only (which was all that was needed based on the actual situation and as opposed to other operators that might recommend solutions not tailored to the specific situation).

I asked a few days to prep the room for his arrival. Mohammad was very helpful giving me tips and detailed instructions. Throughout the intervening time any questions or concerns I had were answered very quickly by him either through email or phone call. It was very reassuring to know that he cared about my situation and he stressed often that throwing things out was not the answer as he would check every single item in my room that I actually wanted to keep. From books, to electronics, and personal mementos.

On the appointed day he arrived on time and commenced his work which is a combination of steam cleaning, chemicals and vacuuming depending on the items or area. Throughout the day he would keep me abreast of what he had found or not found and even took video so that I could see the actual situation. At the end of the day I got a detailed explanation of everything he had done and checked with plans to follow up in two weeks

Muhammad followed up via email afterwards to see how I was doing. During his follow up he checked all the areas of my room that were noted as trouble spots. Not once did I feel that he was rushing. He took the utmost care checking areas again and answering questions I had.

As a further testament to Muhammad's integrity and attention to detail, he even went to check my girlfriends house as she had been over and might have unwittingly taken a bed bug home with her. He explained that if this were the case and he only performed his services on my bedroom the possibility existed that my girlfriend could bring the bed bugs back to me if a reservoir had been established at her place. Luckily he found nothing but I appreciated how thorough he was.

To this day I do not know where I picked up a bed bug but it was reassuring to know I had Muhammad on my side. He made the best of a bad situation and I never felt alone. Thank you very much for your patience and integrity. I could not be happier I called you!

Two days after he finished the treatment, a family member thought they saw a bug and was getting bitten in another room. Hi All, It started with getting random itchy bites on my body overnight… So I started freaking out and had no clue what was going on until I saw a bed bug on my sheets... I called Muhammad who came for an inspected promptly on a Thursday and available for treatment on the Saturday.. I was really happy with the service.. I have not gotten any more bites since his treatment.. Muhammad was very thorough, reassuring, and professional.

Hi, I am writing this review to share my experience with others so they may benefit. My toddler son had a mysterious skin rash that many trips to the pediatrician could not resolve. Finally, a dermatologist suspected some kind of bug bite. But no one else in the house had symptoms. We saw a few carpet beetles and we thought maybe he was allergic so we called a company to treat that issue. I was not satisfied with what this company offered so I went online and found pest solutions. Muhammad was very specific with his questions from our first telephone conversation with him. When he came he spent a lot of time inspecting my son's room and the entire house. He said no need to treat carpet beetles to just vacuum (we were going to pay $250 to the other company for this). Then he said, he suspects bed bugs. He was very thorough with his inspection. Just as he was about to leave (he was not going to charge inspection) he saw a tiny dot on the mattress in my son's room. He said this is a sign of bed bugs. Then, he gave me the option to wait and see, or to treat for bed bugs. We chose to treat. He spent one whole day treating my son's room and gave us traps for the rest of the rooms. He also returned a week or so later to inspect. Muhammad was extremely professional, discreet, and kind. This was a very stressful situation for us, and he helped us resolved it. In addition, he really spent time educating me on how to prevent bed bugs since it is a big problem in the GTA. We were unfortunate to have the experience of dealing with Bed Bugs. We believe we got these pests from our kid’s daycare. Also the problem got complicated as originally we were not aware of what bed bugs really were and what the infestation meant. So we tried to deal with the situation ourselves but to no avail. Then we hired a reputable company in Toronto. They very strongly recommended the heat procedure promising everything under the sky with the sweet talk of our troubles being over now that they are here. They came did the heat process and within 24 hours we saw the first adult BB. So we captured any put it in the zip lock bag and called the company. These guys mentioned that the person who is going to come and have a look at our issue is on vacation and will be back in 2 weeks. However they reminded us to make sure we have the proof. At this point they also mentioned that even with the proof they are not going to perform another heat treatment but this time it will be chemical treatment. So over the course of the next 2 week we caught 5 BB. At that point we got so frustrated that we decided to get another opinion. So by chance we got hold of Muhammed and he came to look at our problem within 2 hours of our call. He looked at our problem in detail. During this first visit Muhammed spent more than an hour going through our house, understanding the issue and providing some tips. So during this time we decided to hire his services as he seemed very knowledgeable and experienced with the BB infestation controls. Muhammed is expensive no doubt but he spent 4 days in our house going through each and every article, books, tables, chairs, bed frames, drawers, dresser to make sure he got rid of the issue. He also made sure to steam and clean the hardwood area as well as vacuum all the carpets to make sure he got all the eggs as well. This was about 3 months ago and since then we have not seen any issue. There were couple of scares where we got some bugs put them in the zip lock bags and showed them to Muhammed but they turned out to be false alarms. Muhammed was very helpful during the whole process as well as afterwards. He has tried to build our confidence at each and every step of the way and we appreciate all the help that he has provided during this ordeal.

He is conscientious about following up and guarantees his work. He is the only company I contacted but I chose him based on all the glowing homestars reviews and honestly, he is everything that the reviews promised he would be. I'm finally sleeping well again!
