I started getting some odd bites and at first I thought they were just flea bites but after a few days this did not seem right and with some research into various bites to compare what I had been experiencing, bed bugs most closely resembled what I had. After this a nervous check of my wooden bed frame yielded one bed bug.

Upon finding this I did a quick look through all the most popular and highest rated exterminators on HomeStars. Muhammad was by far the most impressive sounding and I liked that other reviewers had mentioned many times that he was an honest operator and as a bonus he seemed to genuinely care about easing any fears that people had.

That very night I called him at what must have been 10:30PM and he picked up right away and agreed to come the next day to consult. He asked me a few questions regarding what I had experienced and gave me some tips to help in the meantime. I had taken a photo of what I had found and emailed it to him after the call. He responded immediately with his thoughts. Given how late it was he was very accommodating and stayed on the phone with me to answer any and all questions I had. From the very first point of contact he was very patient and helped to put me at ease.

The next day he arrived on time at the scheduled hour and proceeded to look over my room until he found actual evidence of an infestation. Muhammad is very honest and will not recommend his more expensive exterminator services unless he actually finds evidence of an infestation. If there is no evidence he will provide cheaper options to monitor the situation (if it is only one male bug then there is no reason to do anything extensive). After this he quizzed me about where else I had moved in the house and carried items from my room. He was very patient and went room to room in the house checking other bedrooms and sofas where I might have been. Luckily no other evidence of an infestation was found and he recommended his services for the one bedroom only (which was all that was needed based on the actual situation and as opposed to other operators that might recommend solutions not tailored to the specific situation).

I asked a few days to prep the room for his arrival. Mohammad was very helpful giving me tips and detailed instructions. Throughout the intervening time any questions or concerns I had were answered very quickly by him either through email or phone call. It was very reassuring to know that he cared about my situation and he stressed often that throwing things out was not the answer as he would check every single item in my room that I actually wanted to keep. From books, to electronics, and personal mementos.

On the appointed day he arrived on time and commenced his work which is a combination of steam cleaning, chemicals and vacuuming depending on the items or area. Throughout the day he would keep me abreast of what he had found or not found and even took video so that I could see the actual situation. At the end of the day I got a detailed explanation of everything he had done and checked with plans to follow up in two weeks

Muhammad followed up via email afterwards to see how I was doing. During his follow up he checked all the areas of my room that were noted as trouble spots. Not once did I feel that he was rushing. He took the utmost care checking areas again and answering questions I had.

As a further testament to Muhammad's integrity and attention to detail, he even went to check my girlfriends house as she had been over and might have unwittingly taken a bed bug home with her. He explained that if this were the case and he only performed his services on my bedroom the possibility existed that my girlfriend could bring the bed bugs back to me if a reservoir had been established at her place. Luckily he found nothing but I appreciated how thorough he was.

To this day I do not know where I picked up a bed bug but it was reassuring to know I had Muhammad on my side. He made the best of a bad situation and I never felt alone. Thank you very much for your patience and integrity. I could not be happier I called you!
