Metro Plumbing & Drains

We had a heavy leak from the living room ceiling. The water had to be turned off. The first companies I called could not come out for at least 24 hours. Metro was out within 3 hours of calling. Vadym was exceptional. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and have the repairs done expertly and without any mess. He explained everything he was doing as he progressed. He advised us in advance of what the charges would be. We would highly recommend him and Metro Plumbing.

Last month, my son noticed that every time anyone flushed the toilet in our house, the basement floor drain would overflow, with you know what. So I called Metro because they offered free camera inspections, and a free estimate. The tech who came (Andrei) was very interested in the problem. He said that he knew what It probably was but wanted to check. So he pulled out his tools and snaked the drain, and used the camera as well. He said that there were roots in the drain and that he would have someone come and dig up the damaged pipe and changed it. I loved everything, very professional, and knowledgeable. I had on two occasions called this company with a drain problem. On both occasions they were able to attend to my problem within hours (as they had indicated). The servicemen on both occasions were knowledgeable & had the job done quickly. Also provided helpful advise. I will certainly call them again if I have other drain or plumbing needs.

The plumber arrived promptly and wore "slippers"in the house.After reviewing each task, I was advised of a set price.
All replacement parts were readily available in his truck allowing for the work to be completed in an appropriate time.

Located company online, telephoned, plumber at door within the hour promised, problem checked, solution proposed and price quoted, Work started at once and completed fully, tested and all OK. Seniors Discount appreciated. Plumber, Andrei, was polite and a genuine tradesman willing to do a job so small in the course of his day.

Metro was not the first company to my door but they understood the best.
The first guy, a brand name company was telling me my sewer was finished without looking at anything.

I contacted metro , they sent Vadym, His solution was to snake the drain then put a camera in the system to see if there was a bigger problem.
Turns out my drain is in great shape for the age.
I got lucky...here the bottomline there are quality contractors out there like metro with a fair price that do great work .
Beware of a company that starts you off with worst case scenario before checking anything.

Arrived home on a Saturday morning to find a serious flood in our kitchen and downstairs hallway. Turned off the main water supply and googled emergency plumbing on the internet. Called Metro Plumbing to diagnose and find the problem which we thought was caused by a frozen water pipe in an outside kitchen wall, but we could not tell exactly where the breakage was.

Vadym arrived an hour later exactly on schedule and very quickly isolated the problem which was a broken fitting in our dishwasher. He turned off the cutoff valve to the dishwasher and our main water supply was restored less than 15 minutes after he arrived. It seemed very simple and it was, when you know what you are doing and what to look for.

We had been very concerned that walls and/or ceramics would have to be ripped out to find the pipe. Vadym was knowledgeable, helpful and professional, he was quick and his fee reasonable.

Would definitely use Metro Plumbing again and recommend them to others....
