AR-TIC Plumbing and Heating

Had a kitchen renovation + closet conversion to bath - Richard was the plumber brought in by my contractor. At first, everything was great. He's a nice guy. Moved the plumbing in the kitchen, replaced the stack, installed an in-wall toilet system. Then there was a lot of confusion between invoices and suddenly I had all the plumbing ones. I spent days trying to separate what was part of my initial renovation quote (moving plumbing, hookup etc) from what was being invoiced to me as I didn't want to pay twice. Also wasn't happy that some of the pex lines were run under the ceiling joist, so the drywall is butted right up against them on the ceiling. Once we figured out was was covered through the initial cost and what was still outstanding, I paid all of that. As per the contract and invoice, what was left to complete was all the final hookups (kitchen sink, dishwasher, toilet system, sink in bath) which was supposed to happen this week. I was just told by my contractor that Richard won't be able to complete it until middle to end of September. So now I'm stuck trying to find another plumber in the 8th week of renovation. Very unhappy and definitely do not recommend.

Richard was referred to us from our neighbour. We had a nail puncture in our pipe and Richard came as soon as he could. He was very professional and his experience shows thru his work. The leak was in a very obscure place and he and his staff were careful when accessing the pipes. He lined the floors with drop sheets and made sure he did not make a mess of the place. His price was extremely reasonable and we will use him for our annual boiler maintenance. His specialties are plumbing, hydronic heating and boilers.
