3 storey semi-detached full gut reno + addition on the back
This was our first major renovation on our first home. Suffice it to say, we didn't want to leave anything to chance and we spent quite a bit of time doing our research in order to pick the right GC. We went through about 6 interviews with different people, and in the end chose Brian of Andaloro Construction.
We feel that we couldn't have found a better company to work with, given that it is a huge leap of faith to give any company/individual our life savings and more, trusting that they will **properly** build us the home that we envisioned.
We really picked up on Brian's attention to detail during our initial meetings, and it really shows in the finished product. Brian also has a great eye for design, and we leaned on his experience when making all sorts of decisions relating to finishings.
As our renovation included replacing half our roof, underpinning, and water management (our house in on an underground tributary) - Brian wasn't willing to cut any corners and made sure that we were always in the loop.
From the start, Brian and his entire team were communicative, responsive, and professional. We had difficult neighbours to deal with on both sides, and Brian worked with us to guide us through the process both with the neighbours and city permits. We don't know if we would have come through the entire process in one piece, if not for Brian and his team (and a little hand holding from time to time).
Even though our renovation was completed over a year ago, Brian is still very much accessible and reachable, and he has been back to take care of any small concerns that we have had in a timely fashion.
We would highly recommend Andaloro Construction. In fact, we are planning on working with Brian again to finish our basement.
