After calling a handful of other roofers listed on HomeStars (who either wanted to charge me $625 before they even came out, or sounded like they couldn't be bothered), I got a hold of Ryan. He was very courteous, professional and responsive. He was able to come personally the SAME DAY to repair a small section of our roof (missing tiles). It should never be expected that tradespeople are able to come the same day that they are called, and it was a lucky coincidence that Ryan had the availability. So this wasn't the only reason why I would highly recommend Ryan and Impact. He did the repair quickly and explained everything in detail along the way, and was happy to answer all of my many questions. If only everyone in the trades were as dedicated and professional as Ryan.

This was our first major renovation on our first home. Suffice it to say, we didn't want to leave anything to chance and we spent quite a bit of time doing our research in order to pick the right GC. We went through about 6 interviews with different people, and in the end chose Brian of Andaloro Construction. We feel that we couldn't have found a better company to work with, given that it is a huge leap of faith to give any company/individual our life savings and more, trusting that they will **properly** build us the home that we envisioned. We really picked up on Brian's attention to detail during our initial meetings, and it really shows in the finished product. Brian also has a great eye for design, and we leaned on his experience when making all sorts of decisions relating to finishings. As our renovation included replacing half our roof, underpinning, and water management (our house in on an underground tributary) - Brian wasn't willing to cut any corners and made sure that we were always in the loop. From the start, Brian and his entire team were communicative, responsive, and professional. We had difficult neighbours to deal with on both sides, and Brian worked with us to guide us through the process both with the neighbours and city permits. We don't know if we would have come through the entire process in one piece, if not for Brian and his team (and a little hand holding from time to time). Even though our renovation was completed over a year ago, Brian is still very much accessible and reachable, and he has been back to take care of any small concerns that we have had in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend Andaloro Construction. In fact, we are planning on working with Brian again to finish our basement.
