Poor Workmanship. Poor Warranty Support
I hired Gitano Roofing based off the reviews on this site. It turned out to be a horrible mistake.
I talked my neighbor in to having his roof replaced at the same time.
The crew showed up early and got to work. That's about the only good thing to go on with both of these jobs.
The job site was left messy. There were gloves and garbage left in my gutters. There were nails left EVERYWHERE.
My flashing was left unsecured around my chimney. That was service call one.
The flashing was secured but damaged. This was service call 2.
The problems were so bad with both of our roofs that Lewis offered us The Keg gift cards.
The problems continued.
My roof has leaked 4 times in 3 different places. The first time it was due to no drip edge being installed.
There are areas with exposed underlayment. There are exposed nail heads.
Here I am 9 years later (well within their warranty period) and I have another substantial leak, One that requires a bucket to catch all the water.
I have damaged drywall, soaked attic insulation and where is Gitano Roofing?
*crickets*
They are avoiding my calls. They were supposed to show up yesterday to fix this leak and never showed.
I stayed home from work today in the off chance that they would appear and nothing.
I am now left rushing around trying to find a competent roofer to come out and repair this leak on the day of a "heavy rainfall warning"
