The quote process was quick and easy and was very low pressure. Our salesman (Oleg) was pretty awesome to deal with. We paid our deposit and waited for our install date. Our install was scheduled for a Wednesday. The Friday before our scheduled install we received a call asking if we could move our install date to the Tuesday instead. I called work and was able to change my vacation day to the Tuesday so we went ahead with the day change. Tuesday morning comes and I drop the dog off at the dog sitter. By 11:30 in the morning I get the idea that something is up. After several calls back and forth to the office I am told they are not able to reach the installed and to not expect them that day. So that is vacation day #1 lost. Our next appointment is scheduled for the following Tuesday. I book another vacation day. Monday at 5 pm I receive a call the installer can't make my appointment the next day. It is too late to change my vacation day, so that is vacation day #2 lost. I then receive a call asking if they can come on Wednesday. We book the appointment and I take vacation day number 3. The installers showed up at my house on time and ready to work. Super nice guys. AND... The front door is the wrong size. Not a little wrong but 6" wrong. They built my door 6" wrong. We went ahead with the patio door install. While the guys did an amazing job on the patio door they developed a plan to install the front door. They assured me they can "make it work". We went ahead with the front door after I was told it would be a 4 month wait for a new front door to be made. The door looks good. It isn't "brick to brick" as I had ordered but the installers did an amazing job making up for the factories error.

My Gererac generator died. I called Michael in to look at it. I wasn't happy with the original install so I had him redo the entire service. I went with a whole home transfer switch. The quality of work is incredible. As a tradesman myself I am very picky. I can't find a single fault with the install. VERY happy with the quality and price.

After spending a day on the phone trying to get someone to come out to the cottage I was ready to give up. All the approved service techs were to delicate to make the drive and anyone local was afraid of the brand. That was until I called Les. He was out in an hour and had my fridge repaired on no time. I couldn't believe how little he charged and how high the quality of work was. I'd HIGHLY recommend Les to anyone needing appliance repair.

These guys showed up quickly to do the installs. The work was sloppy at best. The cameras are aimed poorly and are ineffective at night. They do not return calls or emails. I am ready to rip their garbage out and install a quality system.

We hired Grand River Moving to move my mother in law. These guys showed up more than 2 hours late. The "crew" they sent out looked less then professional. One guy had a broken hand and couldn't even move anything. They dragged their feet all day and seemed exhausted very early on. We even caught one guy sleeping in the basement! The move didn't finish until 2AM (long after I left) and they demanded an additional $1500 or they were not going to leave. This is such a horrible case of elder abuse. They damaged walls at both the old residence and the new and left dirty/greasy hand prints all over the white furniture. DO NOT hire these guys. Use Homestars to choose a better company.

In March 2014 my furnace died. I decided to replace it. The install was ok ( a bit sloppy) but was cleaned up by the installers after 2 additional visits. They forgot to "put a thermostat" on the truck but promised to return at a later date to install a new on . That never happened. After calls an text messages I just gave up on ever seeing it. Last summer my A/C wouldn't keep. The house temp would rise 5c and the A/C would run almost 24 hours a day. Reliance returned several times to charge the system, change some wiring, put a jumper in, take a jumper out.. Then it got cool. This summer the same thing. My A/C runs all day and most of the night and does not maintain a steady temperature. I have called reliance and have been promised a call back from my sales person. Nothing. My neighbor across the street which I referred to Reliance has had the EXACT same issues and Reliance has had to upsize his A/C because the sales person sold an undersized unit. I would LOVE this to happen but I can't even get a call back. I should have read their BBB report before doing business with them. I am TOTALLY dissatisfied with my experience with Reliance and wish they would just come and rip their equipment out of my house. I am tired of empty promises.

We hired Toronto Granite to cut and install a Quartz vanity top for us. They were punctual and very fast. The price was reasonable and never changed. There were no surprises. Any issues I had with the install (minor) were addressed promptly and without argument. I will use them again.

I saw that a few of my neighbours had their driveways sealed and it looked fantastic. I took the company info off the driveway placard and have them a call. I was out walking the dog when I called and they were waiting for me at the end of my driveway by the time I got home. The were fast, tidy and careful. The quality of their product is fantastic and has held up well. Since I had mine done several more of my neighbours have used them and with great results.

What incredible service! Today was VERY windy (100km/h gusts). I came home from work to find most of my shingles missing from the front of my roof. It is a newer roof done in 2009. I found Royal Roofs on Homestars and gave them a call. Because of the high winds Vasil was available to come right away. He was at my house in 20min. He let to buy shingles and returned. The job was done very quickly. He took pictures of the job before and after. I am a trades person and recognize quality work and when someone knows what they are doing. I couldn't be happier. He not only fixed my missing shingles but we went around and addressed issues left by the original roofers. Vasil at Royal Roofs gets two thumbs up. I WILL use him again in the future.

These guys helped me set up a 90gal Cichlid tank and walk me through all the newbie mistakes I made along the way. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable. If you can get there during one of their Tent Sales you will get some smokin deals!

Well here I am again. Leaving another review for Clasic Home Inspections. Hopefully my last for a long time. This home inspection started much like the first. Brent showed up early and got right to work. This house looked to be in MUCH better shape but that didn't stop Brent from looking just as hard as the first house. He found a few issues that I am sure many would have missed and a pretty serious (but simple to fix) safety issue. On the weight of his report I have decided to proceed with this purchase. I will sleep well at night knowing I had a professional like Brent doing my home inspection!

As a regular customer of the Big Box Stores I had gotten used to poor customer service and never being able to find someone who can answer my questions. Then I started shopping at Home Hardware in Streetsville. These people are awesome. Very friendly and always available for my many questions. Their advice is spot on and very helpfull. Great job guys! (and gals)

Classic Home Inspections did an incredible job for me. The inspector showed up on time and got right to work. He spent 3.5 hours and gave the house a very thorough exam. As a tradesman myself I thought I had a solid grasp on what the house needed when I made my offer and was surprised at what I had missed. Brent was on the roof, in the attic and in the crawl space. Not a stone was left unturned. Long story short Brent presented me with a very detailed report which allowed me to decide for myself not to make a $20,000 mistake and walk away from the deal. On a personal note Brent is a very friendly person, as honest as the day is long and there can be no question to his personal integrity. I am so happy with the service I received that I am using Brent again on my next home inspection tomorrow!
