Calgary Maid Service

I never hired a cleaning company before in my life but the quality of their job is amazing the complete house was cleaned and everything looks great. I will hire those guys again and will definiatly get a regular customer! If you need a cleaning company you really should consider hiring those guys.

Upon possession of our new home, we decided that we had to have a cleaning company come in. We called companies throughout the city and Calgary Maid Service had the soonest availability. The gentleman on the phone listed off various tasks that would be completed and they all sounded great.

The cleaner showed up, 1 person for what I would call a 2-3 person job. She asked if I had prepared a list for her. Being under the impression that she would come prepared, I was not. Having already cleaned the cabinets and painting 2 of the rooms, I told her not to bother dusting the walls in those 2 rooms or cleaning inside the cabinets. I then left for the day. That evening I returned to the house expecting it to be ready to move in. When I opened the door from the garage and took off my shoes, I could feel that she hadn't even touched the floors in that entrance, nor had she wiped the top of the washer/dryer (this was the first thing I saw.) Upon further inspection, all windows looked like they had been cleaned with water, half of the blinds had not been dusted, the floor in the pantry had not been washed, and none of the bathroom cabinets had been wiped out along with many other little tasks.

I was not impressed with the job that was done so the next day I called the company explaining that we would be moving in in 4 days and we were not wiling to wait for another cleaner to come in. I should also mention that their 'customer service' lines were so busy that I was required to leave a message. That is not a good sign. They returned my call within a couple of hours and told me that they could not refund any money and they would have to send another cleaner to come out but they had an opening the next day. Well it is almost 3:30pm the next day and I can not get a hold of the company nor have I heard from the cleaner who was supposed to call 1hr prior to arriving. Being in the process of moving and wanting to slowly move things into the house, I cannot wait around all day for someone to show up.

I will NEVER recommend this company. They don't seem to know how to run a business or provide their cleaners with proper supplies, this is evident because if they had, she would have had proper window cleaner and it would have been done right the first time.
