We recently had the Furnace Company out for routine maintenance on our furnace. The technician pitched a monthly maintenance plan, which is fine. We said no, but the tech said they'd send us some additional info, also fine.
What isn't fine, however, is then signing us up for the plan without our consent.
As a result I've just spent the last day trying to make sure we don't get billed for something we didn't sign up for in the first place.
It's too bad, we'd actually been considering signing up until they tried to rip us off.
