John T (#29) was very courteous and professional. He was on time. He provided a lot of great tips on how to maintain proper care of our ac and furnace. Our family has been using this company for the past twenty years or so. We bought two furnaces and one ac from this company and never have any issues with installation and maintenance. Definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.

Attic AC installation started by another contractor, sloppy awful workmanship, ceilings ruined, registers left unattached etc......asked them to leave. Hired another company to finish the install and start us up......paid alot of money to them to inspect and finish only to find out that not all work was completed....played telephone tag and listened to excuses for 2 weeks from them. Finally found Mersey, made us believers again that there may actually be someone in this industry with some integrity . Great service, spent lots of time explaining everything....will definitely use again

Cory arrived at the start of the scheduled service window, and completed the service call in a timely fashion. His manner was pleasant, enthusiastic, and respectful. He took the time to explain the nature of the service and to answer my questions. He provided me with guidance about future service on other HVAC components. He advised me of charges prior to processing the transaction, and provided a print receipt upon completion.

Source of failure identified quickly by following a logical procedure. John Park was observant and noticed another issue with control of the circulation fan which he corrected. Finally he checked pressures and components in the compressor to ensure the unit was operating to specifications. Ticket #0120804.

The service was 7/10 the day of the installation. Some minor things went wrong: No reminder call previous evening. 1h late expected time of arrival (no call letting us know) 9.30 am. Probably might be bad communication between office and crew.
Good work on site, above expectations in resolving unexpected problems. A little damage on deck stairs, otherwise really clean afterwards.
Unexpected bad connection with bbq, needed to call back on sunday (tube dislodged, no gas available). We had problems on running a bbq day with family. 24h service came quick to fix it, thanks.
Things got serious when we survived a CO detection of 65 ppm (with open windows) due to malfunction of the hot water tank exhaust after the installation as per the fire department captain. Our dog was at home, but thanks God, we have CO detectors in every floor. Fire department came and we got a red tag from Enbridge. Then our misery started. Since Saturday June 17th, with no hot water in the house, Mersey tried to deny their implication.
Finally, after calling customer service of Costco (Mersey was contracted by Costco for the installation of our Furnace), the manager approached us to fix the problem on Monday June 19th, prosing us that we should pay another extra 1500$ to install a new gas water tank because our tank was not compatible with the new furnace exhaust. After refusing, they agreed to fix the water tank exhaust which was isolated during the furnace installation causing the CO raise in our home. Unfortunately, Tuesday June 20th (4 days with no hot water with a 5 year old at home), they were unable to install the new tank because they were not sure if they would be able to open a second exhaust as required (proposed solutions were impossible to make). That happened after a technician was sent on Monday June 19th (24/7 service did not come/call on sunday as they promised) into our house to inspect the installation that was done on Saturday. Finally today, Wednesday June 21st, they agreed to install, not a gas but an electric tank(Manufact. 2014!!!), which this time (thanks God) they would pay for it, including installation. Thanks Mersey for increasing our hydro bill, much appreciated. The final touch was sublime, please have a look on the attached pictures, the quality of the finish is superb. We were so dissapointed, so angry, so frustated, that the moment they left the house, we felt so relieved that we did not care about them anymore. Please stay far far away from us, do not come back, but people has the right to know what can happen to them if things go South.
P.S: And we can say this is a provisional solution for us but it will be not with your company for sure. Thanks.

Cory did the service for us and arrived promptly. He was very friendly and courteous. He worked thoroughly and methodically to ensure that our furnace and AC were functioning properly. In addition, he took the time to explain what he was doing and offered suggestions on what we could do to make the system function better and more safely. We were very impressed.

WE have been a customer of Mersey for over 10 yrs. and have been very satisfied with their work. Just had my annual check-up done on my air- conditioner and their technician (Thomas) was extremely helpful and professional.

Freeone was leaking and needed topping up. Replacement of the coil was also needed. John T. Was extremely helpful with explaining what was needed to be fixed and was also the same service personnel that came back to install the coil. He was efficient and quiet. Polite and wore booties to keep my floors clean. Despite the repairs needed. The cost is what prevented me from giving the rating 5 stars. The cost of the repair was steep for me. Hopefully my a/c unit will not have any problems for a long time. The cost also includes a maintenance package.

I needed a new air conditioner after my old unit developed a leak that made it not worth repairing. My wife & I decided to go for new furnace at the same time since newer units are significantly cheaper to operate.

The quote I got from Mersey was slightly cheaper than others but was based on equipment with better specs, for more comfort and lower ongoing costs.

The crew of 3 arrived on time, took care to ensure the path to my basement was covered, dismantled and removed the old furnace and a/c and set up the equipment. The job was done to a higher standard than previous companies I have dealt with. The work is neat and professional. The installers were gone in 6 hours with no trace that they'd ever been, apart from a slight smell of glue and "new furnace", plus the new equipment.
