We needed to replace our roof so we met with Kelly and he patiently answered our questions and gave us a quote. After accepting the quote, the handover of information from sales to operations to the roofing team and to collections was great, with everyone being aware of our order details.
The staff were professional and friendly and the roofing team did a great job!

A new roof is not only an expensive item to purchase, it is also something that (if bad decisions were made) can lead to nightmares and sleepless nights (literally sleepless when roof leaks) for years to come. So we didn’t try to find a roofer that could quote us the cheapest price. Like other Canadians, we *try* to be smart and informed shoppers. We want to find a roofer that charges us a fair price for good quality products and willing to stand behind their workmanship for years to come with excellent services (not just for a few short days during installation).

Our old shingles were starting to curl up in the last few years and the granules loss were getting worse. So we finally decided to get new roofs last year (even our roofs might have lasted for 1-2 more years). To do our due diligence before picking a roofer, we asked for quotes from FOUR (yes, 4) BBB accredited roofing companies (all with A+ rating) that have 15+ years of history of operating in Calgary. One company got eliminated right away as the estimator didn’t even bother go up the roofs. Hubbard came out top in our selection process.

* Quotation process: Kelly from Hubbard was professional, knowledgeable, and the final quoted price was competitive (not the cheapest). Kelly went on the roofs of our home and garage to measure things properly and looked at things closely to provide us with a proper quote. He was very patience in explaining things to me as I have many questions and this is our first new roof. Hubbard’s quote was itemized, specific, and helpfully informative. I like to know and understand what exactly we were paying for, so I used Hubbard’s itemized quote to do some research using Google to understand things. And Kelly was very helpful in answering all my questions.

* Installation process: The nice workers installed the roofs professionally in a few days as planned and cleaned up the site after they finished the job. A few days later, Hubbard sent Jim (an experienced roofer whose job is quality control) out to do an inspection to make sure everything was done right.

Let me share an important and positive story before my concluding remarks and recommendation. Over this past winter, the metal valley on the new roof lifted up a little at the edge (cosmetic only with no risk of water damage) and I reported this to Kelly. He promised to send Jim over to inspect and fix after the snow melt. True to Kelly’s promise, as soon as the snow melt, Jim came to inspect and fixed the issue (taking Jim only a few minutes). You see, this is positive to us! We went with Hubbard because we know Kelly (we had a chat on this) realizes the importance of a reputation that has taken Hubbard 32 years to build. In our age of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc), Kelly understands Hubbard needs to stand behind their workmanship, products and installation and take good care of us and their other clients.

Given my own excellent experiences with Hubbard, when others ask for my recommendations, I will happily tell them to go get a quote from Hubbard for their roofing needs and see for themselves how Hubbard compare to other roofers out there!

Our roof has been damaged from the last hale we had. I asked my co-workers who they can recommend and Hubbard was one of them. I immediately requested for a quote and the response was phenomenal. I know nothing about roofing but Don has explained everything clearly. Price wise, they are also affordable.

Cody came out to assess our roof, spent time with us, answered all our questions, Answered questions we didn't know we should have asked. Other companies wanted to do everything online. Cody was the only one who came to our home. When the crew came to install the new roof, they were very professional. Again, answered questions, very patient. They didn't cut any corners and went out of their way to do things right the first time. I strongly recommend this company to anyone considering or needing a new roof.

My roof was 40 years old and was needing a replacement. I got a few quotes but I really liked Hubbard Roofing as they came out and provided me with a free quote and took the time to follow up with me after the quote. Our 27-year-old skylight was having condensation issues that were causing water stains in the ceiling and it needed to be replaced.

We seemed to have a few false starts and communication gaps getting this rolling, but when we eventually received our quote and the weather improved enough, we were able to get the product ordered and the installation was scheduled.

The two installers showed up on time and appear to have done a great job. We were happy with the price quoted and with the final installation and results. I would recommend Hubbard.

We hired Hubbard to replace our hail damaged shingles, eavtesroughing and related areas. All the staff that we dealt with were professional and friendly, from original estimate, to the crew who replaced the shingles and the second crew who replaced the eavestroughing. We continue to tell our friends about their excellent work and friendliness. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any other roofing & exterior work I required and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality roofing & exterior professional.

Two years ago we had our roof, eaves troughs, fascia and soffits replaced. Recently, we have been renovating our kitchen and two days after our new insulation and drywall were installed, the roof leaked, causing us to have to redo insulation and drywall in about a quarter of our kitchen ceiling. Kelly arrived immediately, along with Jim and D'Arcy to rectify the situation, which they did to our complete satisfaction. As an example of value added, they replaced shingles that had been removed by our gas fitter when he was putting a range vent through the roof; obviously this was not Hubbard's responsibility, but they chose to help us out and ensure that the vent would not leak in future. I truly appreciate this demonstration of excellent customer service.

As soon as I informed Hubbard staff that the project was a go, they immediately started the process and moved quickly on it. The roofing crew was a wonderful group to have working on my house--very polite and demonstrated a professional work ethic. Even though the job was interrupted by a snow storm, they were finished, cleaned up and gone in a week. The whole process was handled very efficiently and professionally, and I love my new roof!
