We did a complete kitchen renovation.

New cabinets, new floor, light fixtures and painting complete kitchen (walls, ceiling and trim)

Work was completed in the timeframe stated to my upmost satisfaction

Had a great experience with Les and his crew. Came as scheduled, completed the job in 2 days. The porch looks great - got many compliments from the neighbors. Was not happy with the cleanup and contacted Les who got his crew to come back immediately and rectify. I have more jobs planned for next year and I will use them again!

They did a great job the work was done on time,great quality workman ship and the price is exactly what I was quoted. That's a 1st time I've ever had a contractor keep his word. Great job guys.

Than did an excellent job at removing the fireplace and replacing the drywall and painting, etc. He came to the house for 3.5 days straight to get the project done, by himself, with minimal disruption to our daily lives. However, we were scheduled to have another person do the job first and he never showed up the first 2 days. By contacting Michael, the President, he was able to ensure we got Than so that the work would be completed on the days I had booked off from work.

I've amended my review upon speaking to Michael at THIG.

To make a long story short, I was unhappy with the fact that my very simple project was taking weeks to complete, and had to include a repair to work that was done poorly. I have a young son and it was difficult navigating my home during the renovations, and having to stay out in the community with him all day, only to find that the work wasn't completed, or that no one had shown up to work in the first place. My home was damaged by the contractors during the project, and I was fed up with waiting for THIG to make amends.

I've since spoken to the owner's husband Michael, who was very respectful and understanding, and he has promised to settle this situation fairly, which I appreciate. I don't know that I'd recommend THIG to anyone at this point, as I'm still a little sore from the experience. I hope the company learns from this situation and does better next time, and I hope that, should you choose to hire THIG for your own home renovation project, your experience is better than mine was.

I hope you will read my previous endorsement for Les, Project Manager and his team. My house needs a lot of TLC to say the least. The Home Improvement Group has carefully used their team of experienced craftsmen to bring our house to life and now we are proud to call it our home. This time our awnings and master bedroom balcony was practically falling off our house. Just a few days later we were looking for another project. My wife and I are so pleased that we will continue to use their services and tradesmen. Les knew our vision and made smart decisions to "save" our budget. I will say as I did before my only apprehension from writing these glowing and well deserved endorsements is that Les and his team will be too busy to finish our home. Thank you Les and Chris! Hired to paint a bathroom vanity. Very unprofessional finish leaving unclean paint lines on inside of drawers. Came back to fix after I complained. After cleaning up the paint job left with vanity drawers not able to close. Contacted them about the issue with no reply.

My all-star is Gary Enns and is why I scored so high. I called THIG for our first experience in renovations. Gary arrived to see what job we wanted done, we started talking and my reno doubts faded. Gary was pleasant, knowledgeable with great ideas. As seniors and handicapped Gary took it upon himself to see our every need was met, he even picked up materials I.e. shower doors, vanity, etc he did the leg walking and did not give up until the needs were done. These were extras he did not have to d, such professionalism and moral standards are rare today. Gary is my her because during the bathroom demo my cat ran into the wall. I was in panic mode, called Gary, he said he would be right over. He took down everything, even though it wasn't work he normally did, turned out the cat was in the ceiling. Finally talked him down by 10:00 p.m. I don't know what would have happened if not for Gary's actions a truly exceptional man. Gary's strong ethics and decency is why he is a great asset to your organization where he sets a high standard for others to follow. Thank you Gary and many blessings. Make sure you recognize him!!!

Once you completed project in the Beaches, my sister arranged for work at her place in Etobicoke......when we were at our cottage over Victoria Day our neighbour heard about your painters and had them give their cottage a total cottage facelift at Allenwood Beach...your staff as first rate, professional.....

I am absolutely pleased with the work Than did on repairing various exterior wood work only century home. Over the three days, he tackled multiple separate jobs around the house, always listening to what I was looking for as the home owner and trying to keep my costs down. Than is hard working, even on some very hot and long days. His work is high quality and I am pleased with the effort he put into custom matching the new wood with the cebtury old style.

I would definitely recommend Than and the home improvement group to others for future jobs.
