Gienow Renovations

The installers were friendly and prompt on the initial assessment and work, but some of the parts were late and little flaws were evident after the first visit. Unfortunately, it took them too long to get both situations repaired and I ended up having to delay some of the other contractors on the project and the reno took far longer than I had budgeted for. Once finally complete, the work was well done, but the process was unnerving.

I was very happy with Alex and his crew. Very polite and hardworking. They kept checking to make sure I was happy. I will refer Gienow to others. Thanks to everyone!

Terrible experience, horrible communication and service. Doors and windows late and incomplete, then late again. Remote job site so I had to pay extra for the framers to come back twice to install the late doors and windows. I was promised at time of order there would be no delivery problems, so not true. Decorative window bars crooked, metal doors had trim made of numerous materials that needed painting? Honestly I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Took 3 months for product to arrive. Door wood plugs around windows all different levels. Sticking out, deep in. Glue seeping out from frame. Many calls did not help. I told them to at least tell me what kind of paint to use after I fill holes and repaint myself. No response. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS Plygem company.

In sales we worked with Ronny, who was fantastic to work with as he was knowledgeable, patient, oh so very patient and walked us through the whole process seamlessly. For installation, Merv and the rest of the crew were incredible. They were very professional, experienced and tidy. The new front, back and patio doors and 20 new windows add a fresh look to our 30 year old house! We had spoken with several other window companies and are glad we went with Gienow/Ply Gem.

We just wanted to say how happy we are with our windows. The windows are amazing! We noticed a difference right away! I especially wanted to thank Georgie the install crew for their hard work and for doing such an excellent job. They worked very long days, and worked hard to make sure our existing window coverings would work, to which we are very grateful. Thomas was excellent to deal with, made good recommendations, and answered all our queries. Although a scratch occurred during installation on one of the windows, I have been told a new window is being made and will replaced when ready. I would certainly be recommending Gienow Renovations to friends and neighbors letting them know about the excellent customer service and excellent product, we received.

Gienow came well recommended by others in the trades ... and for good reason. Their prices were competitive. Their assessment of our needs was thorough. Once we booked them, we were given contact information for all the people who would be involved in the project. The installation crew was great--prompt, approachable, hard working, accommodating, and knowledgable. The follow-up afterward from the office was immediate. We would have no hesitation at all recommending Gienow.

Ronny the sales consultant was really knowledgeable and understanding when I asked him a ton of questions about how the windows worked. When I sent him new designs he was quick to get me back a new quote or explain any challenges with my ideas. The installers were careful and experienced. I would use PlyGem again for their windows. They also had really good selections especially because I was looking for a modern look.

I had all windows and doors replaced on my 25 year old house (approximately 30 in total). The selection and ordering process was very simple. A few windows were mismeasured but were promptly re-ordered. Very happy with the quality of both the windows & the inatallation.
