General Contractors review in Oakville

Carlos caulked 9 skylights in our sunroom. His quote was competitive, he arrived when he said he would, did the job very neatly, and checked his work. I'm glad to say that, although it has subsequently rained heavily, the skylights no longer leak. In addition, Carlos is very personable, and explains what he is going to do and the materials that he will use.

Can't trust Carlos

We hired him to caulk the new build. He gave us quote and we thought it was reasonable. Once the job started, he said he missed there and here, increased 17%. We let it go since the job was underway already.
Since we had some exterior wallscones not finished yet. I said to hold $100 and he come back to finish. He said to hold $50. I let it go and held only $50. After we finished to contact with him again, he said he won't come over for $50, at least $200.
Be careful this guy, bad ethics and customer service.

Company Response: Some people are unbelievable first of all we did this job back in April 2014 we were prepared to come back that same summer for the held $50 agreed on initial completion of work not after 2 years that he finally installed his missing lights now materials and gas has increased prices don't stay the same when went there we had no knowledge of there being roof top windows they were not visible from the ground we started the job as was initially quoted and agreed then had to increase based on extra added rooftop windows plus top and roof sides of chimmeny customer also asked us to caulk walkout wall at house control joints plus other requests customer agreed to extra work and charges without any problem truth be told I do not understand this oriental customer,s complaint at all we did an excellent job as always and he was very satisfied?.
