Alan came to do our pre-purchase inspection. He was professional and very thorough. We are first time home buyers and we worried about any potential problems. He found several issues, being an old house. He was able to explain everything in plain language. And the report is the most comprehensive document. 11/10 would use again.

I feel very confident in referring Alan to anyone who ever asks. This is the second time I’ve used his services and he goes beyond my expectations each time. This time, he identified some structural issues that were fixable but expensive and I was able to get money back from the seller on closing so I can immediately rectify this issue. Without such a detailed report and explanation it wouldn’t have happened and now I can move in with the peace of mind that my new home is safe. You can just see with the ease at which he works that he’s hardwired to spot issues but also is able to teach you how to maintain and care for your home going forward. NO WAY HE DID A PROPER INSPECTION

ALAN was scheduled to come at 11am. Came past 12 noon. I let him in. I left for lunch. Came back at 12:40pm. He was gone. No way he could have possibly done a thorough inspection of my house.

This is a 2 story rowhouse. 100 years old. Not a condo or new build.

I don't know what this guy is playing at. But he is no real inspector. His report was poorly written. It made no effort to describe what was serious and what was minor. Everything was just listed out. Like he spent all of 10 min writing it.

This is our second time using Alan. Definitely recommend if you want a thorough and honest perspective. While not always what you may want to hear, Alan is great at putting issues in perspective, highlighting those that are critical from those that aren’t as well as suggesting potential solutions. Super helpful and reassuring. Always a great experience working with Alan.
