AllMax Home Inspection

I used Allmax during the process of buying a new home. This whole process is overwhelming enough and there are so many things to look for . I was advised to use their services by very close friends who have been using their services for many years and have been recommending them to everybody ever since. I was not disappointed. Alan is a true professional and it was a pleasure to deal with him! He was very straight-forward, thorough and honest on all the details. He answered all of my questions and I appreciated his patience since I had so many questions to ask! He went above and beyond to address my concerns and gave me a clear insight of the state of the house and the potential issues we might encounter. He is also very punctual and delivered the report in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to use his services and we will definitely use AllMax again in the future!

Complete waste of my time and money using Alan. I had mold in my AC fancoil and he would not turn it on to take the air sample from the the source of the mold. I've since determined with 2 additonal companies that the unit did have mold. He botched the test and the mold spore levels were not accurate. Would never recommend him and I'm in the process of reporting him for his incompetent unprofessional work.

We hired Allan for an extended pre-purchase home inspection with air quality testing for mould. We chose him because he had amazing reviews and his rates were competitive, especially compared to the big guys. He was very pleasant to deal with and extremely thorough and efficient in his inspection. I followed him around during the inspection and he gladly answered all the questions I had along the way. He found multiple defects, providing us critical information to factor into our purchase decision. His thermal imaging service easily paid for itself when it revealed a plumbing issue that was impossible to see with the naked eye. He provided a very detailed report, with photos taken at the property. He was very customer-service oriented, having a quick turnaround time for the report and being very accessible by phone/text for any questions we had. I hired Allmax to come in for an air quality test after discovering 3 different areas of mold in our new home. Alan was very thorough, he really went the extra mile while there to look around the house and see if there were other areas of concern. I was a tenant that had only been living in my new house for a couple of weeks when I started feeling headaches in the basement. I did some research and was soon convinced that I needed to have the place inspected for mold. My landlord said he'd only reimburse me if I paid for the inspection and it turned out there was indeed mold. I have an infant daughter and couldn't take the risk to leave it, so I did some research and went with Allmax based on the amount of positive reviews it gets. Long story short, I am one more extremely satisfied customer. Alan, from Allmax, came and did the inspection (which detected mold). He was very knowledgeable, generous with his time and expertise, and especially adept at giving advice on what could have been a delicate tenant/landlord dynamic. My house is now mold free and, as I said to him, although he's a great guy, I hope I never see him again!

In the process of purchasing a home in the west end of Toronto and had to fulfill the home inspection clause of my agreement.
