These expert landscapers went well above and beyond to remove my very large overgrown lump of weeds and replace it with a beautiful expansive garden that is harmonious and a pleasure to enjoy....and the team was friendly, professional and respectful. Curbz was a pleasure to work with. Their communication was outstanding from start to finish, both from the owners (Jude and Ian) and from the crew. They answered all our questions and kept us up to date on progress and timelines.

Our landscaping project was a challenge. The entire front, side and back of our corner lot was overgrown with weeds after a waterproofing job on the house foundation. It’s a small lot with a parking space, and we wanted a sitting area and a spot for our young kids to play. Curbz had good ideas about how to divide the space while making it feel more open, e.g., with cedar screens, clean and minimal garden beds, and a functional, modern mix of patio stone and grass. Their attention to detail in executing the plan was tremendous. We’re quite happy with the results.

I had been wanting to landscape our backyard for years but never seemed to get around to it. This summer I finally took the time to do my homework and find the right company to do the job. The minute I met Jude, I knew I wanted to work with her and Curbz Garden Design & Reno. She understood from the very beginning what I was looking for and answered all my questions along the way. Their price was very fair for the amount of work that they had to do which was: an entire new backyard of sod, clearing, reshaping and transplanting of numerous gardens and all new river rock around a very large tree. The team she brought to my house were professional, hardworking and delightful to work with. I would highly recommend Jude and the team at Curbz Garden Design & Reno.

My yard was in need of beautifying and I found Curbz online. I made contact and Jude came over. We discussed what I wanted and the suggestions she had were amazing! I never thought of lighting as a key element! Or a second seating area! She delivered her quote on time; followed up and I rewarded Curbz with the contract. They started when they said they would, and the crew was amazing. The crew explained what I needed to do to maintain the plants. They delivered a low-maintenance yard with a high beauty element. I couldn't be happier.

We hired Curbz Garden Design and Renovation to create some landscaping in our backyard. Jude was wonderful to work with along with her team. She was accomodating, professional, and reliable. She completed the work in a timely fashion and was sure to follow up afterwards to ensure we were pleased with the job. It was a complete pleasure working with Jude and her team at Curbz Landscaping. I really cant recommend them enough. The team was friendly and worked hard and the final results were phenomenal. There were a few speed bumps along the way, which is likely to happen with any project, but Jude and her crew responded very quickly and dealt with them in a manner that was more than satisfactory. Again, I would definitely recommend. Great work, friendly service and fair prices.

I paid the company $500 as an initial deposit to perform lawn remediation/maintenance on two properties in 2013. They visited each property once and then emailed me (about 2 or 3 weeks after I paid them) and told me that they do not have the personnel to carry on with lawn maintenance and were focusing instead on landscaping. I am totally disappointed and feel that they mislead me when they accepted my money for these services.,

I have to admit that I'm surprised by all the positive reviews of Curbz. They are very nice people, but the ongoing maintenance for our garden was disappointing. The garden was always full of weeds and I found them to be very expensive when I asked them to fill large empty spots with some plants. I sent pictures of areas that were overrun by weeds after many requests for attention, I often didn't hear anything, and very little got done. They were fine with the very basic maintenance (i.e. grass cutting and edging once a week), and when they were doing projects (which were very expensive, I think, in the thousands, for planting plants in empty areas). I wish they had been a lot more proactive and much more responsive. Also, one time, they sent me an invoice for another customer. They were charging me much more for disposing of trim/weeds etc. and the bags than they were the other customer. I felt that the location of my house (north toronto) caused them to charge me higher prices. The only thing I would say is that Jude is a lovely person, for sure. I just wish they had put in more time and effort. My sense is they strongly prefer the margins on big landscaping jobs to simple garden maintenance.

Our shaded oasis of a backyard needed some structure and expert advice about what to plant. We wanted to have work done in the fall so we can start the spring enjoying the results. Jude responded promptly, arranged a visit to suit our schedule and provided great ideas . We really appreciated her interest in "working with what was already there" and then adding some key plants and edging stones. The work was completed in 2 days, Jude followed up promptly to ensure we were happy and all of our preferences are reflected in the final result. We can't wait for spring!
