Steve Sweeney the owner of Re- Roofing Ontario, visited my house and made very good suggestions. I was renovating the interior of the house at the time, but neglected the roof because it wasn't a problem when the house was inspected. Steve's commit to me was "you are doing all this work on the inside, don't you want to protect it?" He then began to point out problem he saw. A big suggestion was removing an old chimney that wasn't in use. It was just a place for raccoons and squirrels and whatever else to make themselves at home in and cause possible future problems. When Steve provided us with an estimate it wasn't just a number, it was full explanation of products and samples he uses and full insurance coverage. He educates you in the process. Steve takes pride in the work that he and his crew provides for all his clients. Everyone is polite and the job site is tidy. Our roof looks great it's properly vented "You get what you pay for" and more. Great Jog done.

We were recently in a real bind when heavy rains brought water into our bedroom (three days after it was professionally painted!) We got quotes from three different companies. From reading the absolutely glowing reviews about Steve and his team, I sensed from the beginning that we would be going with Reroofing Ontario...and we did! Steve is knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and offers a very personal, individualized touch to both his quote process and his work. While his team was not the cheapest of the quotes we got or other companies we knew about, with Steve you get full comfort that the work that is being done is being done thoughtfully, skillfully, to the newest code and in a way that provides minimal disruption in your home. Our neighbours even commented on how pleasant and tidy he and his team were and are now seeking quotes themselves!

Our roof turned out to be in a worse state than originally understood, with many short-term "band aid solutions" being implemented over time. Steve was proactive at suggesting where we could save and where we should spend to ensure we had the best roof over our heads while not stretching ourselves where we didn't need to, which we really appreciated.

I will be enthusiastically recommending Reroofing Ontario to friends and family and would certainly use them again for our next house!

We interviewed five roofers over the course of a year however we were most impressed and comfortable with Re-Roofing Ontario. The owner, Steve Sweeney, arrived with a presentation which included a written estimate, a copy of his license, insurance and WSIB coverage and brochures from the shingle, underlayment, vent and flashing manufacturers. What ultimately convinced us to go with Re-Roofing was their competitive pricing, commitment to excellence and distinctive methodology.

Re-Roofing Ontario was the only roofer who pointed out that most roof problems are caused by the lack of adequate ventilation. This had the definitive ring of truth and logic and was certainly the case in our situation. Not only did our existing roof have insufficient venting, but Steve also pointed out that although our soffits looked ventilated, they actually weren’t. On completion, Steve ensured that we had more than enough vents installed in the roof and predicted that we would not only feel warmer in the winter but also cooler in the summer.

What also makes Re-Roofing Ontario stand apart from other roofers is their use of Titanium UDL, a synthetic roofing underlayment, instead of felt. It is 100% synthetic therefore is unaffected by water, which means it is mould free, does not dry out, crack or leech oils in the heat or become stiff or crack in the cold. Once your roof is covered in Titanium UDL, it is watertight.

We were concerned for years that our front bathroom was not vented properly and consequently, during a shower, the walls would drip with condensation. Steve found that the bathroom exhaust had been connected to a vent stack. He corrected the situation by installing a new roof vent. When Steve came out to our house the first time, he pointed out that one of our downspouts had split, which could cause a lot of damage to our brickwork. Steve offered to replace it free of charge.

Steve takes pride in doing a job right and doing it well. He always kept us updated during the work and we learned a lot about how roofs should and shouldn’t be done. Throughout, the Re-Roofing staff were friendly, helpful and considerate. They protected our neighbour’s and our property during the job and did a thorough clean up on completion.

Being in sales myself, I have always felt that a job well done speaks for itself. Steve Sweeney and his company Re-Roofing Ontario’s work speaks highly for itself, however I am most happy to speak on their behalf and recommend them highly to anyone.

House is soon to be a tear-down but needed a new roof. Company provided serveral options with quotes in a timely fashion. Quotes were very competitive. Work was completed in a professional manner and on time. Debris was cleaned up during, and right after the project was completed. Very satisfied with the workmanship. These guys are good!

Steve and his crew were very professional and arrived to work when they said they would. The install was great, Steve actually suggested a few things that made the house even more amazing, including the skylights which have just enhanced the inside of the house.
The clean up was great, as if they were never there.
I would highly recommend Steve to transform you house as he did ours.
