Joe from Snap Pest Control found & fixed a nagging mouse entry point that another company could not fix even though I paid them a lot of money which now seems to be overkill going by some other great pest control companies I researched. After using a certain Pest Control company that charged me $3500 to inspect the external structure for rodent entry points & then plugging them up as well as fixing a squirrel entry point, plus $275 for double baiting the attic, baiting the garage & inside the house (even though I kept telling them no mice had ever entered the inside of the house & that they were only within the walls), I still had evidence of mice in the walls from the pungent odor coming from the bedroom above the attached garage & spreading to the adjacent room. After much pleading with that pest control co. they finally sent out a 27-year veteran of the industry who came, took a good look around & re-assured me that my house was totally sealed & that I had absolutely nothing to worry about but when I asked him why I was still smelling the rodents he said that it was from the mice that were already trapped inside & that they would eventually die off after a week or two after finding & eating the bait in the attic. I was almost convinced but not quite, having already lost confidence with this company; my worst fears were realized when a week after this inspector left I began to notice that pungent mouse odor (not dead ones but live ones); of course I could differentiate between a dead mouse odor & the stench of their nests but this company totally & conveniently disregarded this. So then began the process of contacting this company & pleading with them again & again but they in their minds were satisfied that they did a good job & thought I was imagining things even though I was suffering with these noxious pungent smells that was spreading from room to room. Their story kept changing - first it was 2-3 weeks, then it became 6 weeks, even though it's more than 6 weeks, then they said the mice will eventually find the bait. Their attitude was terrible in the sense that they were grilling me to see if I was imagining things even though they kept telling me that they believe me but in the next breath they kept asking me irrelevant questions like they did not believe me – total giveaway. I see a previous review which talked about the same issue they had with this company despite them providing proof of the mice droppings. They did not follow up on the bait stations inside the house & attic either - apparently they double-baited so no need for follow-up. What kind of company is that! They kept telling me about their 3-year warranty but what was the point if they could not even come right away while the problem was still ongoing, just soon after they supposedly sealed up the place! I don’t trust that warranty & I will never call them back - bye bye to my hard earned money. They caulked unnecessary places without fixing the real problem,except that it was easy for this company to show they did a lot of work! If they could not come & inspect & fix my nagging problem now, how will I ever expect them to come within the next 3 years? I think NOT! They quoted me almost $200 (per hole) to cut holes in the drywall & place bait & deodorizer but that's a temporary fix so I did not buy that. The conclusion: I finally found Joe Bruno from SNAP PEST CONTROL & after reading his 10-star reviews on HomeStars, I knew I had found the most honest & experienced guy so I called him & told him the story of my life & after spending a short time inspecting the external structure, he found the opening where mice were still entering – despite the so-called professional job by the other company. Joe did not even charge me for his work as he felt so bad that I had spent such a lot of money on the other company. I did not even have to plead with Joe about my story – he, being so professional, honest and an expert in the business, understood exactly what I explained to him and he set to work with his PIN-POINT investigative/detective skills. He has a knack for sniffing out those mice. I know now that my problem is solved because I trust Joe & I saw him in action. I will always call on Joe in the future to inspect my house annually. I will certainly spread the good news about his work. I have proof of his excellent work with the photos below which I intend to place on my review of the other sub-par pest control company.

Based on the positive reviews I called Joe from Snap pest Control because we were hearing something moving around in our attic. Joe came over and was quickly able to identify that we had squirrels in the attic. Joe showed me where the squirrels had eaten their way through the wood under the shingles. once the squirrels were out Joe replaced the wood and sealed the edges of the roof with wire mesh, and he even had his own shingles to attach back to the roof. Joe also put some wire meshing in some of the cracks around the house to keep the mice out at no extra cost. Joe was professional, fast and has all the right tools to do the job, I am very happy with his service and highly recommend his services to anyone. thanks. Joe

Recently moved into this house and found rats in our home making noise during the night in the basement. Joe Bruno is a great guy with a lot of knowledge from S.N.A.P. pest control. He came in spent couple hours to inspect in every details of the house to help us find the source where they are come from. They came into the house from a couple cement crack holes in the garage. Laid rat poison food at these access points and at the activity areas around the house. No more sleepless night in 1 week all rats are gone.

I heard scratching noises outside on my roof a couple of nights in a row and saw a raccoon walking on my roof. I called Joe and he came to check the roof after a snowstorm and confirmed that under the snow it appeared that an animal had started tearing away at the roof. The day after the snow melted and the raccoon had entered the attic that night for the first time. Joe came the next day and installed a one way door and within hours the raccoon was out. Joe repaired and patched up the roof. Joe did a great job in a tough and awkward part of the roof. I would recommend him to anyone.

The first company I called was unable to tell me even after, they put in a one way trap door and 2 weeks of scratching noises in attic and $$$ whether it was mice or squirrels in my attic. I was very frustrated and so I called Joe of Snap Pest Control to help me. Joe came as soon as I called. He went up into the attic, confirmed it was mice, laid mouse poison in the attic, sealed outside entry point and within 2 days no more scratching sounds in the attic at 3am! Had an issue with rodents living under the front exterior steps. Joe came by to ensure that no rodents have made it inside and also took the time to insert mesh around any openings that could serve as an entry point. Joe was honest and fair. Thanks again for your help.

Joe Bruno, Owner - Snap Pest Control came highly recommended to me by an industry insider. I called him immediately upon discovering a worsening termite diagnosis in my basement (probably sounding a little “crazed” as homeowners are apt to be on receiving this sort of news) and found him very much a calming force – a matter of fact, assess the situation, here’s what we have to do kind of guy. I was grateful for his knowledge and insight as we laid out a course of action and dealt with the pest issue properly.
Some months later Joe and colleague, Frank, had taken over an ongoing rodent issue I was experiencing and in process of finally fixing that problem, they discovered another termite issue, this time under the basement bedroom floor. This area had been previously treated by a large and well known company who hadn’t done a proper job (holes were drilled for pesticide distribution but not deeply enough and then never “capped” rendering the product virtually useless). I don’t know how much was charged for that treatment, but looking at the destruction to my bedroom floor it certainly didn’t serve its purpose. So the good news was they found the problem and we intended to fix it. The bad news was it was now late afternoon and equipment and solution had to be ordered and retrieved from Oakville then brought back to site. To make matters worse, the product and equipment were temperature sensitive and the temperature was dropping, FAST.
Joe and Frank went above and beyond that afternoon and kept working into the night. They got the product into the floor in the very nick of time and then had to spend another few hours de-icing the equipment. They could have said forget it – we don’t do termite work after September – they could have decided it was too much bother to even try. But they didn’t – they took a chance, a gamble for my best interests and worked their butts off to get the treatment done.
I don’t know about you, but my home is my largest investment. Sure, there are occasions where I want trades to sharpen their pencils – when I want to see if there is money to be saved – but sometimes you realize you get what you pay for. And Joe Bruno and Snap Pest Control, are quite simply, THE BEST.

We started hearing critters (probably squirrels) moving around in our attic. Of the four companies I contacted (2 of which never got back to me!), Joe at Snap Pest Control was the first to respond, and quickly answered all my questions. Joe and Angelique came within the week and, after making sure the critters were not in the attic at that moment, installed wire meshing all around our roof and capped our chimney. They took great care in making sure that it was installed properly so that they would not find a way back in - Joe even went back up there a couple of times to re-verify everything. All in all, they spent about ten hours at our house! A reasonable price for a full day of work and a job well done. Joe came back a month later to remove the one-way trap, at no charge. We are very satisfied with the work and with Joe and Angelique.

This was the second time I used SNAP, after Joe helped extract a raccoon family from my garage a few years ago. Joe does a great job of sizing up the situation - this time it was a rodent tunneling in my basement. Like Sherlock Holmes he took his time to fully assess the situation before deciding on a course of action, which I really appreciated. The problem has been resolved and Joe was generous with his time and insight on how to better protect my house in the future. A very insightful, experienced guy, and a really ally in combating unwanted visitors. A great experience all around. I highly recommend him.

SNAP (Joe and team) treated our home for termites discovered in the basement and the main floor. Two major spray treatments were completed to the woodwork as well as the drilling of holes (and parging to patch up the holes) in the wood framework and around the exterior of the home to inject the insecticide into the ground. Last treatment was in August 2014. SNAP even followed up with us in October and sprayed one more extra spot we decided to gut as well at no charge. SNAP was conscientious, thorough, and returned messages consistently. So far it is looking good that the treatment was successful and we intend to use SNAP as our regular "check up" contacts for prevention. Thank you to Joe especially and the SNAP team.
