We hired Alex at Cadaxx to prepare all forms and to obtain the backyard drawings and permits that the City of Vaughan and Toronto Regional Conservation Authority required in order for us to proceed with the installation of our backyard pool and hot tub. Alex also was to provide the two departments with the documents and to ensure that they met the City and TRCA requirements (lawn grading and technical drawings were acquired from a third party and those costs are not included in the above price).

Cadaxx's excellent work resulted in our obtaining the required permits in a timely manner. Alex was very quick to respond to any questions or inquiries that we or the government agencies had.

I highly recommend Alex and his company for any projects that require township &/or TRCA permits.

If you are looking for an architect you need to hire Cadaxx immediately. I don't say this lightly, as my husband and I are not new to dealing with renovations.

From the initial site visit, Alex has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We actually only intended to one addition to our house, because as per our previous renovation, we were told nothing more could be done. Alex actually told us this may not be true and he would look into it.

Here we are, months later, drawings done and now submitted to the city for permits. We are looking to get three different extensions done, and hoping that this will clear with the city. I am confident in having Cadaxx represent us if things go to the CoA.

One final note: My husband and I were truly unsure how the exterior design would look and we were honestly kind of nervous that there would be no curb appeal. We received a rendering of what our house will look like, and we're beyond happy with this!
I've attached photos: You can clearly see the additions we're adding, and how the roof now seamlessly blends with the house. We also plan to paint the red brick black, that'll match better :) .. Overall, awesome!
