Acker Home Inspection

So glad I hired the services of Phil Acker to help me prepare for my 30-day Tarion submission. Phil was recommend to me and I would certainly recommend his services to my family and friends.
The issues he identified could eventually lead to more serious problems down the road; I would never have identified these deficiencies myself. The inspection along with his ongoing maintenance suggestions were invaluable.

I've used Acker three times now and they've impressed every time. Phil's knowledge is second to none. They arrive on time, get to work right away and don't stop till the job is done. Phil and Randy work very well together. Perhaps what i value most from these guys is that they not only tell what the problems are, they identify things you should keep an eye on, as well as explain ongoing maintenance to you. Lastly, You can call or email phil with follow up questions (as it's alot of information to tale in sometimes) and he answers promptly. If you're looking for a home inspector, look no further. You just found him.

Phil and Randy work well as a team and provided an organized, efficient thorough inspection. It is particularity helpful that they are familiar with the Tarion issue codes and produce a tailored report referencing these codes. All we had to do is type in the pre-prepared abbreviated report on the Tarion site and attach the full electronic report as reference.

Needed a quick inspection as I had to remove the condition of an inspection from my offer during a bidding war. Phil came in on short notice and did a great job. I observed him throughout the inspection and he explained each step of the inspection and the associated findings. His report was clear and concise and well worth the investment.

We were very pleased with our home inspection. Details we didn't think about and showing us how things are supposed to work, was not what we expected. Very professional inspection, and a report finished at the end of the inspection. It gave us confidence in our home purchase. We highly recommend his services to anyone.

Acker home inspection is probably one of the best i have used. I used them for the last 2 homes that i have purchased and also for a recent investigation into a possible foundation issue at another close family members home (thank you Phil for quickly determining that it was not a foundation issue!).

Phil is very experienced and methodical in his approach. Furthermore, he takes the time to explain every item, and possible fix. He doesn't rush, and makes sure that all inspections are extremely detailed.

Firstly, this company was recommended to me by one of the contractors who used to work for Mattamy Homes. I was told that they would be the most thorough home inspectors I could find. I was not disappointed.

I especially enjoyed how they allowed me to tag along and explained what they were doing and looking for, and why. As a first time homeowner this meant a lot to me.
