It will soon be a year since we engaged Finished Basement to finish our basement to our specifications. We are as impressed today as we were earlier this year, with the quality of workmanship and the completed product. This family run company is professional and delightful to work with. Igor (Dad), Vitaliy (Igor's Son) and Natalie (Vitaliy's wife) were our main contacts from start to finish and we are very grateful to them for all their advice and professionalism. The entire team worked like a well oiled machine and they were very polite,courteous and respectful of our house. To name a few - Yuri (plumbing), Igor & Max (electical), Alex (taper), Vladimir, Igor, Yuri, Dave & Andrew (framing, dry wall), Vitaliy, Roman & David (floor, tiles). Igor (Dad) came over to check the finished product and to square up our bill and this too was precise to the cent. Very impressed and we are so happy to have had such a wonderful company to finish our basement so professionally and on time. We are thrilled with our basement renovation and the professional, efficient and excellent work of the Finished Basement staff. I honestly don't even know where to begin with this review. After reading their reviews and having Andrew come out for a estimate we decided to have this company finish our 600sq ft basement. We were floored with the final results, our expectations from the company after seeing their other work and visiting the show room were high and they managed to exceed them still. The crew is always on time, respectful of your home (the placed mats over the hardwood leading to the basement, cleaned up after themselves daily and always said hello to every member of the household) and very hard working. We went from having a concrete storage area to a beautiful, functional, livable space in just 2.5 weeks. They don't mess around when it comes to quality and workmanship, they're truly basement Masters!

We decided to finish our basement in September and by October 25th it was complete. The original quote was almost exactly what we ended up paying. The finished product is even better than we imagined thanks to some good ideas from finished basements. Small things like 45 degree angles on wall corners, access ports to services, dimmers on some zones of potlights were all things we hadn't thought of that make our new space more functional and enjoyable. Right from the estimator (Andrij) to the owner (Igor), the interior designer (Natalie) and the actual work crews, this company is run as a family business where customer satisfaction seems to be the common thread that makes them successful. All crews were very respectful in our house, they left a tidy worksite every night when they left and always took time to answer any questions we had. If we move and need another basement finished these guys will definitely be the ones we call.

When we decided to finish our basement we got several quotes and finishedbasement.ca was the first company we talked to. From the initial consultation with Andrew we felt very comfortable. Andrew was very thorough and provided a very detailed quote. I was certainly surprised to see this level of detail at the first consult. We took our time and met with a few other companies but there was just something with each of them that didn’t quite “feel” right. long story short we decided to go with our gut and chose finished basement.ca. This was a most amazing basement reno experience ! This is our 8th house over a number of years and their on-site trades were so great, everyone has been so amazing to work with.

I decided this year to renovate my basement and set out to get quotes. I decided on finished basements and I'm glad I did. This is probably the most seamless renovation I've ever gone through.

Joe started the process off on the right foot by showing up to give me a quote during a snow storm. This was amazing as many companies I contacted never bothered to show up to provide the quote and this was on days when there were no weather issues.

Everyone I dealt with at finished basements was amazing. From Joe who answered all my questions during the renovation process to all the different trades (sorry I can't remember all the names) to Natalie who was great during the design meeting and provided some much needed guidance on colours and materials, and Igor who walked me through the project before the renovation and after to ensure all was done properly.

They all worked like a well oiled machine and for that I say thank you.

Before selecting Finished Basements as the company that finished our basement, I did my due diligence. I chose quotes from 2 other companies, although they had come in cheaper, they lacked the care and professionalism that Andre had. He is fantastic and stayed on top of my project. The finished product is perfect. Months after the basement had been completed, I had a minor repair that was scheduled promptly and finished to our satisfaction. The entire team was fantastic. We traveled and came back to the most stunning basement with a home theatre that has been our new hang out spot. Thank you, guys! Everything is perfect. If I every need a basement done, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again. If you decide to go with Finished Basements, you surely won’t regret it.

We meet with Andrew to get a quote for our basement. The whole team were excellent from start to finish, any changes we wanted they were very accommodating. We had an idea on how we wanted the basement to be done but the owner Igor came with his red tape and went over his ideas which were amazing. It doesn't feel like a basement. It is very bright. We were lucky they had a cancellation so our basement was started right away. We were told 3 to 3 1/2 weeks but they were finished in 2 weeks plus a day. We totally recommend this company. We love our basement. It has a great vibe and can fit the whole family.
