Steve Burke Home Inspection

I was not able to attend so I trusted Steve to do the inspection without my supervising him. Big mistake! He missed major issues - a breaker was taped off due to a major wiring problem, he didn't even lift any blinds and the windows are covered in mould (see photo), there is no heat source in a bedroom, a bathroom, or the office. Once he gets your money he won't respond to your calls or emails. I had to get my realtor involved before he finally responded. He was rude, aggressive and told me I was making it up. Thankfully his ego makes him a betting man and he agreed to refund my inspection fee if I sent him an email to which he did not respond. To his credit, I received the refund the same day. SAve the hassel and call someone else.

We hired Steve on a recommendation from our real estate agent. Steve went above and beyond at our inspection. He took the time to not only do a complete check of everything, took pictures and spent a great deal of time going over his findings. We are exteamlly happy we had Steve and would reccomend him to anyone.

We are selling our home and twice this Inspector was chosen, his first report was fair but when called to do a second by different buyers he gave them the same report as the first time when all the first issues were fixed. Issues he listed were not true and we had picture to prove him wrong. Not professional at all.

you learn alot about your new house over the years, this fellow should have pointed out at least twelve or thirteen major faults in regards to our new home in kingston. he certainly seemed clean and professional at his inspection of our house. we found steve burke as a recommendation from my real-estate advisor. I would say i found him to be totally professional yet miss about 20 real issues that if he had properly inspected this dwelling, he should have given my house a massive failing recommendation..
