Robert was by far the best person we dealt with when we were researching roofers. He came to our home and was the only one that got up on the roof and actually inspected the shingles (with pictures).

Jimmy and his crew came in and quickly removed our shingles and installed the new Owens Corning shingles, replaced the vents, installed the new metal flashings, and even replaced a few pieces of the plywood. They were exceptional, they were quick, and cleaned up the entire area before they left the site. Jimmy was also nice enough to take pictures throughout the project and email them to me before the day was over. It is very nice to see what is being done via pictures. Overall, the quality of work was amazing, and dealing with the TCE crew was exceptional.

In comparison to other roofers, they are a bit more expensive, but after doing our research, we understood why, and it is true, you do pay for what you get. Robert was also nice enough to explain the differences between the shingle manufactures, and was also able to do our roof above the garage at a minimal cost to us, as neither of us wanted miss-matching colours. Robert was also kind enough to educate us with the different types of shingles, came to our home on three different occasions to show us samples, and provide the warranty information, and not to mention was able to move us up the queue from end of August to early July. Overall, I would highly recommend Robert and The Cutting Edge to anyone considering them, as you will not be disappointed! Thanks Robert, Jimmy and TCE crew!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the moment we made contact with Tracey, to the consultation with Robert and the excellent job by Jimmy and his crew, I have only high praise. We were initially provided with detailed photos of the state of our old roof which was just as bad as we suspected and during the job the crew photographed each step of the job, which we ultimately received by email. There was an unexpected surprise when the crew found old cedar shingles below the shingles that were to be replaced. We were immediately informed of this and although it meant extra labour and therefore extra cost, Robert immediately offered to meet us half way on this as it was unforeseen and not part of the original quote. Jimmy and his crew did an impeccable job of the cleanup too. We are extremely happy with price, professionalism and quality and would recommend this company to anyone.

We have a 100 year old semi in downtown Toronto, which meant four layers and 100 years worth of shingles had to be removed before the new ones could be put on. Cutting Edge owner Robert gave us a fair quote and was responisive and great to work with. The team he sent was led by Jimmy and they did a great job. Very thorough, very professional. Our roof not only looks great but they went the extra mile in terms of using metal flashing where necessary and using excellent materials. Highly recommend their services.

Robert's estimate was right on. The crew showed up on time and proceeded taking the old shingles off and demolishing an old chimney , the whole job went smoothly and loks good. I'd recommend this company to anyone that wants to deal with professionals!

Robert was 1 of 2 companies that actually went onto our roof, before providing us with an estimate. Robert actually went up the roof to check on the problem, unlike all the others who just kept on measuring the size of the roof without understanding the problem.
