We hired Robert and his team in July 2015. He was great with communicating with us. Came out promptly to give us a quote and several times after to give us samples of materials. His team got the job done quickly and insured our property was cleaned thoroughly before they left. We've since recommended them to our neighbours and our family in need of roofing repairs.

I own a townhouse that has a fairly steep pitch, and the shingles were in bad shape and needed replacing before winter. I brought in Cutting Edge, and they did an outstanding job: they quoted me a fair price that was much more reasonable than the other quotes I received; excellent work that looks great; and after a few months of wet, windy and snowy weather, I can say that there have been absolutely no problems at all. The crew got the job done in good time, and there was not a single speck of mess or debris in my driveway or around my house. In the summer of 2015, my wife and I were looking to replace our 20 year original roof. Like most people, I asked friends and family for any referrals and got one or two. I then decide to use the Homestars and check the reviews of people who have has their roofs replaced recently.
I found a lot of companies and after reviewing my choices, I picked 6-7 roofers to get estimates.First, from the 6-7 roofers, only 5 returned my call and one company would not come unless I let him in to go into my attic and see the condition of the insulation or wood. No other roofer requested that.
Some estimates were extremely high and some were extremely low which worried and scared my wife and I. We were knew to this and we had a current budget to spend and we wanted to make sure that the money was spent properly. Because of the scary experience we decide to wait till Fall.
Fall came around and the roof was getting worse and would not last during the winter months. After doing our research and getting a few more estimates , we came across The Cutting Edge Roofing.
What a pleasure to talk too. They were so courteous and very home friendly on the phone. Dealing with the owners wife, Tracie-Marie at first, she explained everything about the company( family business past down from generation to generation), product they use and their services, very knowledgeable and polite. She was amazing and it was a great start to a business relationship. So we asked for an estimate. Within 2-3 days, the owner, Robert himself came to the house, climb onto my roof with our permission and took @15 pictures of our roof to show us how bad it was and what he recommends. He also provided me with brochures and details of what will be done, different products that we can use and warranty time frame with all the products. It was very professionally done and explained, true honestly was felt.
After reviewing all the estimates we had, we decide to pick the The Cutting Edge roofing and we are so grateful and pleased that we did make that choice. Two weeks later, the roofers came to the house. It was amazing to see the crew and the owner himself was there to help with the project. It is very hard to find companies where the owner is involved with the crew and their work. Robert Landry takes deep pride in his work and provides quality work that shows in the end result with craftsmanship.
My wife and I are truly thankful for the amazing work that Robert and his crews did. They pride and craftsmanship has made our house stand out from our neighbors and people stop and ask about our roof.
We would like to thank Robert, the owner, Tracie-Marie, his wife and the crew, Bill, Johnny, Tyler, Jim and Daniel. Also thank you to the crew for installing the eavestroughs and the siding above the garage on the small window. Amazing job done from the beginning on the phone till the end when all the cleaning was done. Robert even offered to come back and re-clean anything that was missed- not too many companies do that.

When we recently changed homes we discovered the bathrooms were not vented properly to the outside. Robert and a crew member arrived quickly and installed outside vents for a very reasonable fee. I subsequently recommended him to two of my sons who required re-roofing. I recommend him without hesitation!

Robert was doing a quote for one of my neighbors so I asked Robert if he had time to come over and give me a quote. It was getting dark but he did come over and we are glad. It was well into fall, almost winter so he explained in detail all the options and let us decide with no pressure. Yes his price is a little higher then the other two companies, but the value of his service, attention to detail and product is better in the long run. His crew (very friendly and personable) was over to tarp down the roof until spring when they are going to finish. Both Robert, his crew and Tracey told us that if there are any problems over the winter, don't hesitate to contact them. Tracey in the office is friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. The service level all along in their company has been great and makes us feel comfortable and confident going with their local company was the right decision. The value in their service and product far exceeded the price of the job. I have already recommended their company to our neighbors as they also need there own roofs done right.

We have a 5 year old builder roof, with shingles flying off roof, in addition to many that we're not secured properly and flapping in the wind. Robert was scheduled to come out, although due to an up- coming rain storm in the forecast he came out 2 days earlier which was greatly appreciated! While at our home it began to rain and he went on the roof to inspect it. To prevent any leaks due to the rain, Robert put up some temporary shingles, until he came back the following day with the correct shingle colour. The next day Robert came back and fastened many loose shingles in addition to putting new shingles on. Robert and his crew did my roof in the spring of this year. They were very professional, completed the job on-time and did a great clean up. The work was fantastic and my roof looks amazing. Robert took the time to inspect the roof by climbing up onto the roof and gave us a very reasonable and accurate quote of the work; none of the other companies we called for quotes did that. A few months later, we had some leakage and called Robert; he determined the leak came from faulty installation of one of windows (which is not surprising because our builder did some shoddy work) and Robert not only fixed the problem, he did it at no cost to me. I highly recommend Robert and his crew because they do great work at a reasonable price within a very decent time frame.

Excellent quality work. Came on time, cleaned up perfectly, professional all the way.
We are part of a side-by-side. Neighbor went with cheaper company that used immigrant workers but the same shingles. Her side has many, many exposed nails and is missing things like the frost barrier.
We are happy we went with a Canadian team who is above board and stands by their work. Peace of mind and safety of their crew is worth the few extra bucks.
