Zaid Moving

Zaid and his guys were fantastic. I had a bit of a hiccup getting the elevator on service at the new apartment, but it barely slowed these guys down, they had everything staged and ready to load once things got back on track.

I think this was the first time I've used a moving company and NOT had so much as a glass or dish broken. Considering I have a newborn baby so our packing wasn't quite up to par, the crew was very careful and quick. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zaid to friends and family, and I'll definitely book again for my next move!

Zaid's team arrived on time and got to work right away. They (Mike & Holmes) were very careful with the furniture and the boxes. Everything including - disassembly of bed, loading boxes, moving to new location ( 20km away) as well as assembly of furniture was completed in under 3 hours.
Communication with Zaid was mainly through email and he responded promptly. The whole experience was hassle-free and I would highly recommend them.

I have not used a moving company prior to my recent move, and I hired Zaid due to a recommendation of a friend's friend. I'm very glad I hired Zaid and his company! Zaid was very responsive to my emails/questions. He gave me an actual quote on the same day I asked. During the move, he was on time (actually, a couple of minutes early). He and his crew of one were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They did not waste time and knew how to move heavy items. They were careful about bumping into walls with my belongings. I only had to pay AFTER all of my belongings were moved. Other companies would leave you hostage by asking you to pay them completely before moving all of your belongings. The price was way cheaper compared to other places that gave me a quote. For their very fast, efficient, and affordable service, I would highly recommend Zaid and his company.

I was really impressed with Zaid Moving. Owner was prompt with initial response, quoted a good price, booked a time, and the team showed up on time (actually 10 min early) and were friendly, efficient and helpful. I moved mostly boxes (30-40) and didn't have a lot of furniture this time, but it was the best moving experience I have had.

After reading the reviews on this site, as well as Zaid's quick responses to my emails. On the day of the move, there were three guys Holm, Donny and Davonte. They worked very fast, efficiently and most of all were so polite and professional. We were absolutely impressed. I will not hesitate to refer Zaid movers to my friends and families. And you have our future business.

Our group needs to furnish an appartment for a refugee family, with all the donated furnitures we ended up picking them up from 5 different locations. Throughout the entire moving, two gentlemen from Zaid's company were super polite, efficient and communicated well for those things that are worth double checking. I am extremely happy with their services and will use them again sometime in August when we find a permanent place for the refugee family

You can't get better service than this! Zaid arrived before the scheduled time. The crew moved all my staff pretty fast even though they did not seem to be in rush. They went above and beyond helping us to put a big sofa in the basement, task that seemed impossible due to very narrow stairs. I would definitely use Zaid service again and recommend him to all my friends.

Zaid and team are true professionals. On time, true to their every word and gentle to the core with the move. I cannot be more happy with Zaid and team. Anyone moving, please go with Zaid.

I hired Zaid's Moving based on the Homestar reviews and also a recommendation from a Facebook community, and I am glad I did! Moving is very stressful and we had a few extra challenges to deal with.

A tight budget coupled with an extremely heavy & bulky electric adjustable bed, and a delicate teak hutch & buffet made us pretty nervous about choosing a decent mover.

Thankfully Zaid came through for us. He showed up exactly on time with his two helpers and they got to work right away. They were friendly, polite and asked all the right questions. No wasted time or complaints about the heavy bed, either.

Unloading was also nicely uneventful and the men laid out runners to protect our flooring. So far we haven't found any damages to our house or stuff.

We paid in cash and there were no hidden fees. At the time of our booking it was $95/hr plus a $160 travel fee. We were able to calculate and budget easily and came in right around our expected cost when it was all done. We did move a lot of the little things by car in the weeks prior, though. That's why our move from downtown Toronto to West Mississauga was so short! 10am-2pm.

I would definitely use these guys again (and probably will, considering the type of business I am in!)
