My boyfriend and I moved in together, so there were two stops requested in our move. Holm and Dan showed up on time to my place, and they were quick and efficient in moving all my stuff into the truck. Then they stopped off at my boyfriend's place and picked up his stuff and moved it all into our new condo. The whole job took about 3 hours. Would definitely recommend Zaid Moving.

I decided to hire a mover mainly because it was a convenient way to obtain transportation for my move - I did not have much to move, but the items did include a few pieces of furniture, and I don't have a Canadian driving license nor did I have friends available who could drive me. So I was looking for a mover with low base fees with a reputation for being hard-working, fast, and careful. Based on the reviews online, Zaid appeared to be the best fit. He replied quickly to my inquiry and was available at quite short notice (under a week). On the day of the move, he arrived well ahead of time, a relief to me, because the location I was moving from only offered paid parking spots on a first-come, first-serve basis. His assistant also arrived well ahead of time. (Note that I scheduled a 9am move). The move itself was lightning fast, partly because myself and a friend worked hard along side Zaid and his helper, but they kept up the pace while operating thoughtfully and treating my belongings with care. One piece of furniture needed to be disassembled - Zaid did so swiftly, taking care to collect and provide me with all the parts (nothing went missing). There was no delay traveling to the new location, and the move in was completed as quickly as the move out, with Zaid adhering precisely to the requirements of the management - in particular, we were asked to put the items directly into the elevator rather than drop them off in the lobby, and I appreciate that Zaid made an effort to speed up the process by packing as much into each elevator load as possible without damaging the items. Items were also maneuvered through the hallways and into the apartment with great care. Once we were done, Zaid also offered me a very fair price. I've moved 13 times in the past 25 years. This was by far my easiest move, and the best value for money, ever. Zaid, Daniel, Dan and Home showed up and moved me in six hours flat, door to door; the last move took 12. Without being asked, they disassembled furniture, wrapped everything so it was protected, rolled up rugs and on the other end, reassembled everything, laid down rugs and placed furniture. They were cheerful, smart, professional, extremely hard working and highly competent, easily figuring out to move huge items in and out of very tight spaces. They took the pain out of moving day, went the extra mile and then some for me, and I can't think of a single criticism. I will definitely hire them again.

Zaid is a gentleman who performs with integrity. I received his last email the night before to reconfirm pick up time and responded that we were good to go but needed to add a matress and wooden chest to the dining room set.
He picked up on time, delivered without mentioning the additional pieces or charging for it.

we moved from a condo to a nearby house in Jan. We compared a few well rated moving companies on homestar, and chose Zaid's service. We liked the fact that Zaid, as the owner, actually showed up for the job. And he was able to match the quote we got from some other moving company. The communication was smooth. Zaid and one of his employees showed up on time (actually a little bit earlier even), handled our stuff with care and in a very efficient manner. We asked them to move the old washer/dryer left by the previous owner from the basement to the garage, and they did it without any problem. The two of them worked 4 hours straight, without any break. Will definitely recommend them!
