Zaid Moving

I hired Zaid's Moving based on the Homestar reviews and also a recommendation from a Facebook community, and I am glad I did! Moving is very stressful and we had a few extra challenges to deal with.

A tight budget coupled with an extremely heavy & bulky electric adjustable bed, and a delicate teak hutch & buffet made us pretty nervous about choosing a decent mover.

Thankfully Zaid came through for us. He showed up exactly on time with his two helpers and they got to work right away. They were friendly, polite and asked all the right questions. No wasted time or complaints about the heavy bed, either.

Unloading was also nicely uneventful and the men laid out runners to protect our flooring. So far we haven't found any damages to our house or stuff.

We paid in cash and there were no hidden fees. At the time of our booking it was $95/hr plus a $160 travel fee. We were able to calculate and budget easily and came in right around our expected cost when it was all done. We did move a lot of the little things by car in the weeks prior, though. That's why our move from downtown Toronto to West Mississauga was so short! 10am-2pm.

I would definitely use these guys again (and probably will, considering the type of business I am in!)
