The Duct Cleaning Specialists

We needed them to come urgently in December 2012. In spite of being busy they came and got rid of the dust from our renos. Excellent manners, attention to detail and we are dust free. The two men who came answered our questions and this company was not there to take your money. They were half the price of Direct Energy and other companies who nickle and dime us.

Used these guys when my parents were moving out of their home. Very professional and were helpful in explaining what was happening. They worked within the timeline given and even worked around our schedule.

I used this company when we first moved into our "new" 80 year old home in Toronto September 2011. Paul came in and explained what was going to happen and kept me in the loop as they were going along. Can't remember the cost but i do know it wasn't expensive and we also participated in the fund raiser at the time so that was added bonus for us and the charity. They were very friendly and efficient and of course informative. I'm glad we used homestars because we had a different cleaning company come to our previous home and they blew all the dust and whatever debris was in the vents outside so our entire backyard was covered and looked like the northpole instead of summer.... so needless to say when i saw everything hook up to the truck i was VERY happy i didnt have to clean the outside of our home as i had to do with the other company.

Paul and Steve showed up right on time and very friendly!
Paul started by doing a quick inspection and informing me that we don't need a duct cleaning, but just a vent service... WOW... Sincere, honest and saved us a ton of money! Steve came upstairs and started doing the vents while Paul did downstairs-. Both very courteous- Steve noticed I was on the phone and patiently waited until I was done to start the vacuum. (thank you!!)
They gave me some tips regarding the furnace filter and return air vents and were done in a very efficient manner, but quite clearly getting the job done. Just after they left the house I realized I had forgotten to ask a question about the central vac system, I ran out to ask and instead of just answering my question- they pulled open the machine, pulled out their shop vac and cleaned it. I am very happy with this company and will have my friends use them too.
They even wiped up the floor at the entrance where a little snow from their boots had melted! GREAT customer service. Thanks guys!

Paul came over promptly to help me during the holiday season with my cold basement - gave the ducts a quick once-over. Very friendly and knowledgeable, him and his staff go the extra mile. If you have any need for duct work, make sure you give him a call!

Their service was spectacular. I never cleaned my duct in like 5 years and i felt like my air conditoning was getting clogged. They cleaned my duct in about 5 min faster then others, I thought wow,that was fast! Then I went to test it out, my Air conditioning was like how it was 5 years ago and even better. I highly recommend them.

Noticed a burning dust smell when we turned on our furnace last fall and decided to have the ducts cleaned. Cleaners arrived exactly when they said they would and the service was fast and they didn't leave a mess. Paid what we were quoted. Overall, very satisfied.

Mat and his assistant came to my house promptly on time. They went about their business in a very professional manner taking care to treat my house and its contents with due consideration. Mat answered all my questions with patience and courtesy to the point of being sociable. They completed their job without any fanfare. The total cost was as discussed over the phone. There was no debate about any unspecified vents nor any unpleasant surprises like the ones that I had sometimes been subject to when dealing with other companies. Au contraire, the company gave me a $25 discount on the advertised price when I made a token contribution to a well-known charity that they prescribed. The fact that the next duct cleaning date they suggested was several years in the future is indicative of the fact that this company is less in it to make a fast buck than to create an image of a trustworthy company with the heart to tie into a worthwhile charity as their contribution to the overall wellbeing of the society that they are a part of. Whom I shall summon for my next duct cleaning assignment can only be too clear from the foregoing. The same goes for whom I shall unequivocally recommend to all and sundry for this type of task or any other task that The Duct Cleaning Specialists specializes in. Thank you, Mat and the team!

Paul and his team arrived at my home on time and assessed that my home did not need a full duct cleaning service and offered a reduced service for what was necessary for my home. He also recommended the length of time that I should re-visit looking at a full duct cleaning service.
