Brick and Mortar Repair

I had Red Robin Masonry fix numerous brick/mortar issues in the fall on my 90 year old house and the work was exceptional. The team explained everything that needed to be fixed and how they would be fixing it. They showed up on time and the work was completed over two days. They cleaned up before they went home the first night and after the job was complete. Pleasure to work with Red Robin!

Repair to driveway

I was delighted with this company, from the initial person who came to do an estimate to the person who removed the broken concrete to the ones who installed the new concrete. They were able to do the work within just a few days from when I called, and in the middle of January! All the people from the company were polite and friendly and the supervisor did an excellent job of ensuring that the yard and the garage were cleaned up each day and at the end of the job. I couldn't have asked for better service.

New brick

Red Robin did an excellent job at matching the existing brick on my home, so much so that it's nearly impossible to tell where the old brick ends and the new brick starts. I highly recommend using them for your next masonry project.

Bricked in a window

We needed to close a high window and contacted several people and Red Robin took the time to respond super-quickly.

They came right away and sent me a quote after reassuring me they would try to match the brick.

They're better than their word - the job looks awesome. They put in two stages, one with blocks and the other with bricks. Awesome job! Highly recommend them.

Chimney repair/removal/capping, parging replacement on side of house

Our chimney, which was not in use, had holes in it, some of which were between two rooflines. We were worried about stability and leaking. We also wanted to repair/replace some loose parging over the brick at the side of our double-brick house.

We talked to about a half dozen masonry companies, with widely varying prices and widely varying ideas of what to do. Some were also hard to reach for an estimate.

Red Robin was quick to provide an estimate and the guy who came seemed quite knowledgeable. We thought their solution sounded reasonable and was reasonably priced. The scheduling happened quickly and easily, the job was done and cleaned up within the proposed time frame, and it all looks good so far.

Many other companies wanted to simply plug the holes in the chimney with cement, which didn't sound like a very good solution. Two companies, including Red Robin, said that was a poor and temporary fix. Both suggested taking down the chimney then partially rebuilding it prior to capping. However, Red Robin offered a more complete solution to the chimney issue and a less drastic/expensive solution for the parging for a more reasonable price.

Basement Parging

We purchased an older home that had sustained some water damage in the unfinished basement. We hired Red Robin Masonry to parge the crumbling interior walls in our basement.

The representative who came to provide our quote was very knowledgeable about both the parging process and the services provided by his company. He presented me with several levels of service in a way I could understand (even though I knew nothing about the process myself). I was able to pick the look of the final product to the level I needed and nothing more which saved costs.

The project was supposed to take 2 days, but the crew came for 4 days in a row without discussing the change with me or with my GC which was a little odd, but they remained within their quoted prices so it didn't matter.

The project was done in the winter and the frequent changes in temperature caused some cracks in the final layer. I emailed my Red Robin representitive and he sent someone over within 3 business days to correct the problem at no extra cost to me.

The final product is beautiful and I am satisfied with the level of customer service I received.

Hi Amy, thanks a lot for providing the review. I'm really happy you're pleased with the service and the final product. That's always what we strive for. I apologize that the length of time wasn't communicated with you. It appears that there was some mis-communication on our end as to what was the perceived timeline. the feedback is great so we can always tweek things on our end so the same error doesn't occur again. All the best. Dave

Brick garage 110yrs old that needed spot tuck pointing

The experience dealing with RedRobin was excellent. John who did the estimate to Dave the owner to the great mason they sent our way. The job was done really well, on time and budget and they even found time to do a little touch up on the flagstone grout around the pool. Don't hesitate......call Dave or John now!!

Masonry Repair

In May 2016, we noticed that several of the stones at the bottom of our external wall had cracked or popped out of our 1930s house. I called several masonry companies, and Red Robin was only one that got back to us. David had been referred to us by a friend several years ago and although I had called him and he had given us a prompt quote, we forgot about the work and never went ahead with it.

Just like the last time, David called me the next day and gave me a detailed quote. He had also remembered our house and the quote that he had given us. Apparently, the stones had crapped and popped out because we had not gone ahead with the minor repair work that he had recommended and now we have a much bigger problem. Lesson learned: Go with David's recommendations!

As always, David was courteous, helpful and calming. I begged him to speed up the work because I was worried that more stones would crack. He sent out a crew the next day and I could not have asked for a more professional, thorough, courteous, and helpful crew.

The crew had done their work really thoroughly, cleanly, and well. Furthermore, when I mentioned to them that there was water coming into the basement around the area that they were conducting the repairs, they took the time and discovered that there were two very long tunnels that had been dug out by rain water and were channeling water directly into the basement. They took the time to stuff up the holes and re-angle the paving stones in the area to direct water away from the house. My basement in that corner is now dry thanks to them.

I have already recommended David and his company to several of my friends and look forward to working with them again.
