Swat Wildlife and Insulation

We had a pair of pigeons nesting in our roof soffit and making a mess on roof and walkway with droppings. The guys from Swat Wildlife climbed two stories up a ladder and installed mesh barriers in two places and so far the pigeons have not returned. They were on-time, friendly and professional. I would highlty recommend Swat Wildlife.

Very quick friendly service. SWAT responded within two hours of my call of a raccoon which had climbed down our chimney, made its way past an open damper and into our family room. SWAT arrived two hours later, at which time the animal had crawled back in the chimney. Caps were installed, chimney was deodorized, and raccoon departed. Highly recommend.

A neighbour had seen a raccoon crawling in and out of my chimney, which is no longer in use. And then I started hearing critters running around and chewing things in the attic. I called SWAT and was impressed from the get-go. Their voice message said they'd return the call within the hour: it was 10 minutes. Ken came out the next day, found numerous entry points and closed them up with one-way doors. He was prompt, courteous and professional and took the time to explain what was going on. This was a couple of weeks ago and the squirrels and raccoons have not returned, the ultimate goal of this whole exercise!

Ken, the senior technician, attended our home recently to provide advice and to assist with raccoon-proofing the exterior of our house. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Ken willingly and respectfully answered all our questions and through his expertise provided an effective solution. He arrived at scheduled appointments in a timely fashion and returned to the house as promised to provide the necessary follow-up. Patti who took our call and arranged our appointments was also very professional and a pleasure to deal with during this process. Overall, our homeowner experience with the service at SWAT was excellent. We will certainly call SWAT again if we require this type of assistance in the future. Thank you to Ken & Patti.

My husband and I would like to thank Derrick and Ken for the prompt and courteous service they provided on November 27, 2012. They climbed a 40 ft. ladder to install a "chicken-wire" type of covering over the hole where the squirrels were entering the soffits. This covering had a one-way door allowing the squirrels to leave the soffits but not re-enter. Three other vents on the roof were covered in the same manner to prevent other entry points for the squirrels. Derrick also came into the house, entered the attic to check for any other squirrel entry points. After, the work was finished , Ken came into the house with the invoice and gave me some useful info on dealing with Carpenter Ants. As for follow-up, it was suggested to call them to remove the wire mesh covering when we could no longer hear any noises coming from the soffits or leave it on for a year as a test. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends or neighbours. We have not heard a sound from the soffits since the covering was installed!

After the first company I hired failed to animal proof my house properly, I called SWAT Wildlife because of the excellent reviews I read on Home Stars. Ken from SWAT came to my house the same day and was able to identify the entry point that the red squirrels had found into my house and set up a one-way door so the squirrels can exit but not re enter. He also suggested further animal proofing that could be done on the roof which I appreciated. He was very professional and courteous. When I heard animal sounds a few days later, I called SWAT and Ken returned the same afternoon to investigate. I appreciate the prompt service and I am happy to know that SWAT fulfills the warranty they provide on their work. I would highly recommend SWAT for animal issues.

hopefully the woodpeckers will not come back to continue destroying my stucco home.
