I engaged MGD after reading some of the hundreds of reviews on HomeStars and I was not disappointed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish I received more info from Louis, our sales rep. I had done all my research and all of my questions were answered, but beyond that, there was no further advise offered. If there is 4.9 stars, that's my score for MGD on satisfaction. We had Ryan A. & Justin as our installers and they were very efficient and professional. Ryan A was very cheerful! Rob was our capping installer and he was very good too. Overall, I'm very satisfied with MGD and have already referred them to my contractor!

Markham Garage Doors Ltd. was able to extend the life of my 57 year old garage door. A roller broke, and other garage door companies I sourced out refused or were unable to repair it. I found Markham Garage Doors Ltd. on the HomeStars site, and it had great reviews. I called to explain my dilemma, and they were able to make a service call the very same day. They have some used parts in their inventory, and were able to replace the roller in short order. This saved me from having to replace the entire door.
The service was excellent. Staff were knowledgeable and polite. If and when the door finally breaks down for good, I won't hesitate to call this company again for a new one.

My garage door has been stubbornly refusing to open more than a foot at a time, and I finally decided to get it fixed. I checked Homestars, and called Markham Garage Doors Ltd. I was impressed and pleased with the service from start to finish. Ernie came to my house on the same day, fixed my garage door and even shovelled away the ice from underneath the garage door so it would no longer be impeded. Friendly, professional and cheerful! I found this company on Homestars last year in January 2014, and asked them a few questions on the phone and was educated about insulated garage doors. I decided I would wait for another year and contacted them in January 2015. Excellent job by this team. The guy came on time and assessed the situation and rectified in within the time frame originally quoted. I had to replace the torsion spring which broke as well as the opener that was acting up during winter. It was excellent service all round and I am waiting to have the door itself replaced by them. This is how happy I am with their work and their price that I am going to change my old garage door.

Had an issue with my garage and needed it fixed quickly. Called MGD the next day and the guys arrived that afternoon and fixed the garage. They changed the spring and installed two new cables and lubed the garage door rails.

Our garage would not open/close properly. I called and they were great. They came at a time that was convenient for me, and fixed the problem quickly. Price was very fair as well. I would definitely recommend them.
