After suffering from bad wifi signal and internet connection for 7 years(!) I decided to see if there’s a lifesaver online. Through Homestars, I found Max and started to read the comments and found that many of his customers experienced the same issues as us. I decided to give Max a call and I am so glad I did! Max is knowledgeable and confident in his work and I can attest that he’s absolutely “as described”. Max was fast and professional. Advised us on the equipment to buy and then came to assess and install the equipment. Thank you Max!!

Installed my sprinkler 2 summers ago. Found John on Homestars. John is very nice and the work done was great. He made sure that my small yard has good spray coverage. My front yard is challenging given the small size and it’s connected to the neighbour’s. But my grass is nice and green now! John does our seasonal change over as well and he always double checks for possible leakages. I highly recommend John! (I forgot how much I paid for the installation...)

Met Dave at the National Home Show. Then I read the reviews on HomeStars and decided to engage them. Not disappointed at all. Reviews on HomeStars were justified: Dave took time to explain the work and all work was done with expectation and quoted service. No deviations at all (first time ever in all my projects ). The crew (so sorry forgot their names) was professional and diligent. The lead made sure that the colours chosen are what we wanted. He gave us some more newer samples in addition to the ones Dave us. We are very pleased with the results. And our master bedroom that was initially always a couple of degrees lower than the rest of the house is now warm and cozy for the first time after 3 years! Stucco by Design's insulation works and I'm pretty sure it will withstand winter! Thanks Dave and team - well worth the extra money compared to another quote I got. (Dave takes care of the caulking as well, which I know of the 2 others I enquired before Dave do not do)

We found Herman through a work acquaintance 2 years ago. The shutters and window treatments (roller blinds) were nicely done. My exceptional experience with Herman comes 2 years later (this year) when my windows have been replaced. Herman is very cautious and gave me all the heads ups he can on this project. When time came to reinstall the shutters (which some did not fit), he took the care to ensure that my costs were to the minimum. They were so fast too (he said 2 weeks initially but did it in 1). He communicated with his supplier and made sure all possible negative outcome are looked into. My house is now back in order. I'm forever grateful to Herman and his team!

Saw their ad on TV many years ago and decided to check them out on HomeStars. So surprised to find that they received thousands of positive reviews. Decided to give them a call and I was assigned Alex as my sales rep. From the beginning Alex gave me a very comfortable feeling because he was knowledgeable in the products and was very patient in giving us advice and answered all of our questions. If there's a top sales men award, I will give it to him! He arranged for Gino to be our lead installer and this guy is one of the best in his trade! Quiet and hardworking and finished my installation for the whole house in 2 days with only 1 assistant! I'm impressed by their expertise and also, Alex's dedication to his customers. He gave me a great idea on my front entry door and convinced me to do coloured window so it matches the house. The result: magnificent! I'm so grateful that he convinced me (he tried 3x). Now I'm waiting for my shutters to be reinstalled and I'm anxious to find out if Alex and Gino's confidence that they will fit is proven. ... 7/13/2015: an update on my shutters fitting. We were able to fit 13 out of 21 (although they promised all would fit). 8 We had to make some adjustments. So not bad since my window treatment supplier has told me some horrendous stories on shutters not being able to fit the windows from his other clients. The damage was not that bad for us.

I engaged MGD after reading some of the hundreds of reviews on HomeStars and I was not disappointed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish I received more info from Louis, our sales rep. I had done all my research and all of my questions were answered, but beyond that, there was no further advise offered. If there is 4.9 stars, that's my score for MGD on satisfaction. We had Ryan A. & Justin as our installers and they were very efficient and professional. Ryan A was very cheerful! Rob was our capping installer and he was very good too. Overall, I'm very satisfied with MGD and have already referred them to my contractor!

Pablo was very professional and efficient. He and Tyler cared about their work and only drilled holes in the closet so we don't have to rush the fix. They were very knowledgeable in their service and advised us on some incorrect work done from previous job. I like that he explained everything with clarity. We added potlights in our bathrooms and he managed to drill holes without cracking the tiles, so that saved us some repair work and cost! Overall, very satisfied!
