Thank you Vsanjay, In many cases the problems associated with older electrical panels are not repairable, and the best solution is a new electrical panel, as in your situation. We look after the entire process of obtaining the ESA Permit, arranging the disconnect and re-connect with the LDC (local distribution company), and scheduling the work to be completed in a timely manner, with a minimum time without power. There is much work behind the scene (in our office) Things like - coordinating the gas line installation by our TSSA certified Gas Technician, arranging the ESA Inspection and LDC (Utility Company) Isolation and re-connection. Also - scheduling the required manpower, and keeping our clients up to date, and reminded of the appointments (Diane and the girls in our office quarterback all of this for the company). This is sometimes a challenge, especially in century old homes, because construction methods varied greatly in those days, and fishing and feeding new lines requires patience and careful planning. Thank you for sharing your experience with Captain Electric Shane. It is good that you have invested in the safety of your home, by having your service and other circuits upgraded. It is still very common to find older homes with outdated electrical systems. Whereas most homes would have had a roof replaced 3 times, and a furnace and air conditioner 3-4 times during a 60 year period, we often find that the Electrical and Plumbing infra-srtucture are often overlooked.
