Our strata building is about 25 years old. We had the exterior painted and discovered 6 of the wood frames around the windows had rotted. We obtained 3 quotes to replace the windows. All the quotes were very similar in price however Blaine at Long Life explained very clearly what they proposed and provided references of similar projects in our area. Rick arrived on time and fully prepared to remove and install our new windows. He is a very good carpenter and left an extremely neat job site. Blaine has since followed up with an inspection. They are a very professional company to deal with.

Long Life has made our first home renovation project a happy experience - Paul made a competitive offer, Chris coordinated schedule, Rick, Preston and Richard did the rest.Before the installation we really had somewhat high expectation after reading most reviews on-line. We have to say Rick and his team carried out their work very well, and their performance exceeded our expectation. Not only did they replace all the windows and re-install the blinds they also helped fixed some minor shaky, loosen items around house such as light fixture, door knob and a piece of siding.

Without hesitation we would recommed Long Life should anyone ask for our experience and opinion about windows replacement.

On the morning of June 6 the Long Life installers Josh, Curtis, and Trent arrived on time with the new sliding door. The team was very professional in their work and work habits. The job was explained in detail as to how the installation was going to be performed and also explained was how they were going to remove the old door and get the new door up to the third floor of my house. I was impressed with their clean up abilities as this is usually one thing traders are not very good at if at all.

I will keep the story short. We had all the old windows in our house replaced, and can't feel more happier. This company provides great service, and high quality products at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Long Life Windows & Doors, and if ever had to choose again - would go with them without a doubt.

When researching new replacement windows it's a real Jungle out there, however selecting Long Life Windows to install our Vinyltek Windows eased the process considerably. The enthusiasm and product knowledge of our sales rep. Peter, along with Long Life co-owner Kris with his 'can do' philosophy are qualities that made this purchase work. Long Life's Carpenter 'extraordinaire' Bernard, and his right hand man/son Sean were professional, thorough and tidy, with an eye for detail. There was a certain 'Joie de vivre' in their work and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. We felt the Vinyltek product was superior, at least for our 50 year old home and it was reassuring to see that of the 6 companies that we researched only Long Life and Vinyltek Windows were recommended by the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Our project started with the sales rep, Paul. He was very knowledgeable and offered several ideas that enhanced the look of our windows and door as well as ideas to save us money. The quality and features of the windows and doors are excellent. We replaced all our upper floor windows and front door. The installation crew were terrific. They worked quickly and were exceptionally accommodating. The cleanup afterwards was very good as well. We would definitely recommend Long Life.

The product, installation service and customer service were excellent. One window cracked over a year after installation and they were very quick to replace the window. We highly recommend this company.

We had 2 windows replaced in a timely and professional manner. From the first visit to final completion the job was handled very well. The estimate was clear and the final bill was as quoted (with an additional charge for inside 'finishing' work which we agreed to beforehand). We were also impressed that the initial installation was 'delayed' as the Long Life staff was not satisfied with the product on inspection at the factory -- well worth the additional 4 day wait! The job site was kept clean inside and out, both during and after the work.
The office and on-site crew chief kept us informed by phone in a timely manner. Long Life employees, at all levels, are highly recommended -- we will call them again.
