Paradigm Venture

This is the MOST honest group of contractors. I have used them for when I flip houses who have always provided quality reasonably priced workmanship.

I have used them for 2 different houses where I expected to have to replace the air conditioner and both times they saved me thousands of dollars.

I even had another company come out for one air conditioner and told me I had to buy a new one and the repair would end up costing me as much as the cost of replacing it.... $3500 versus $280? I don't think so....!!!

I paid Paradigm about 7k to do our duct work. After completion, they said they could install a gas fireplace as well. I shopped around quite a bit on my own, visiting seven or eight showrooms, and gave Paradigm a product number without one minute of work on their part to earn the sale.
They knocked a whopping $100 off of a 5,500 fireplace...without a minute or dollar spent on the sale.

As the installer finished cutting the 10" hole in our brick exterior, (it took a maximum of eight minutes), I asked how much it would cost me for him to put a 6" hole on the other side of the house for our fan vent.

Keep in mind, I've given the company over 13k of business, and the fireplace sale was the easiest sale they ever made.
The guy says, "Just give me 150, and I'll knock it right out".
I told him I could do it myself in 30 mins, so I'll pass on his offer.
A few minutes later, he says, "just give me a hundred bucks, and we'll call it square"
Ya, I don't think so.
As he's packing up, he says, like it's charity, and he's doing me a massive favour, "Fine...just make it fifty bucks."
At this point, after giving them a fair bit of business, especially the easy fireplace sale, I had had enough, so I said, "no thanks".
I guess he was mad at me by this point, even though I had done nothing wrong, other than reject his ridiculous "offer", because HE DIDN'T INSULATE OR TAPE THE CLOSURE PROPERLY....so I had to do that myself after he left. There was cold air pouring into the house.
I have no time for this crap.

We wanted to replace our wood fireplace with a gas one and had shopped around a bit. A friend had used Paradigm Venture for their fireplace and recommended them to us. We were really pleased! Their pricing was better than other places we had called and they came to install it within a week and in time for us to hang our Christmas stockings! It was the coldest day of the year, so we thought they might cancel, but they showed up exactly when they said they would. They brought a couple of extra guys with them so they could take turns working outside. They were very neat and tidy and had everything done in just a few hours. My parents happened to be visiting and they didn't even charge me extra for my dad to "supervise" their work! I would highly recommend these guys!

I had Paradigm Venture out to help me service my air cleaner and gas fireplace when I was getting ready to sell my home last fall. He came out on short notice, and got both working very quickly, and at a very fair price. In our new home, I called them again to service the furnace for the winter. During that service, it was discovered that the furnace needed immediate replacement due to a safety issue (It was old, so we were expecting to replace it within a few years). The serviceman explained the issue very clearly, and outlined options for us. Since the air conditioner was even older than the furnace, we decided to replace both. They gave us good advice to not "over-spec" what we wanted, and after a lot of research, their recommendations were perfect. We got very competitive pricing on furnace, humidifier, air cleaner, and air conditioner, and the installation was fantastic. The team was very tidy, installing the furnace so that it is very unobtrusive in the basement, and the air conditioner (which is super quiet) is tucked neatly at the side of the house. They went over the operation of the equipment with me, and removed all the old equipment for disposal. The ground was frozen, so they even made a return trip to our house to remove the old air conditioner once the ground thawed!
I trust Paradigm Venture completely for anything related to my home heating and cooling system.
