Our company had an issue with our toilet & it was hard to find a plumber who could come out to fix it the same day - but I called ClearView and they were able to come out within hours.
Great service....we will use Clearview again!

I am getting worried. My tenant called this company to have a leak corrected and got an original quote of $850 - $1650 (I found this stunningly high but when your place is leaking you suck it up.) They did in fact stop the initial leak so the gyproc is drying out, but they have now delayed a number of times before completing the job so the bathroom is not being used. There was, however, no delay in them charging my Visa for the full amount of all the uncompleted work - $1650. Stay tuned my friends for the rest of the story.

I have now spoken to their customer representative and she seems very cordial and willing to work out something to get me happy with what they've done (but we're not going further); she has to talk to her manager - hope is increasing.

Follow up: I was able to get refunded for the unfinished work. The company's approach seems to be to bill aggressively and then make amends after. If you're not interested in the confrontation, I would be careful here.

We have used Clearview Plumbing and Heating for the past 4-5 years. They are an excellent company. They handle all of our needs including our Air Conditioning. By being planned service members, you get annual inspections of everything for free to anticipate any problems instead of needing to call in a panic. John F is the technician that usually ends up tending to our needs whether last minute (leaky toilet, etc) or during our annual service. He does a fantastic job at explaining things so we can make better decisions since we have no idea about all the trades stuff. John F always completes the job, all garbage taken care of and paperwork complete. I highly recommend this company and John F.

I would not recommend this company. I first booked a service 2 months ago. after cancelling on me 3 times and me taking 2 days off of work they finally showed up on a Saturday and the "service specialist," who was very nice, was again late and not prepared what so ever. He told me that the girl (Jessie) who booked our appointment did not put the right information related to my request. He was very polite when telling us the duct cleaning service they have is 2 to 3 times the price of other's!! we booked it for the coming week and picked a time slot that would allow me to not miss work. the day of the appointment I was again called as the "service specialist" was running late and could not come during the booked 4 hour window. I was then told the service booked was not the ones I had paid for and would again have to re-book. At this point I asked for a refund and was told I would be getting this is 5 days!!! What a JOKE don't book with this company they will take emergency calls over your booked service and treat you like garbage.

I called Clearview when there was water leaking from my bathroom right through to my basement! Even though it was after hours I was greeted by a live person who said they could sent one of there best technicians out. I was impressed when Keith came out to my home, because he kept me informed step by step with everything going on in my home. They gave me up front pricing so I didnt have to worry how much this would end up being after the tech was done all of his work. He really kept me well informed!

Our old heater failed catastrophically around 11:00am. Called Clearview and they promised to have someone out in the late afternoon. Service tech was great, clean & professional, did all the work himself (moving old heater out and new one in) between 4:00 and 7:00pm. wanted to ensure we have hot water that evening. Great service, would call them again.

Brutal experience. I assumed this minor job would take 10 mins & $50. Wow, was I surprised. They quoted $930 to replace a wax seal. I will never be calling them again.

I've had an distinctly negative experience for over two weeks with Clearview about a plugged drain. DO NOT call this company to clear your sewer, especially if you are a landlord.

In summary, Clearview sent out three plumbers, one of whom did nothing and left with no explanation. They did not fix my plugged sewer problem even though their website and plumbers assured me their work was guaranteed. The website proclaims in large bold letters, "Fixed right or it's free". Their online policy states, "Our policy is to leave the customer satisfied. We guarantee that it's fixed right or its free."

They made multiple excuses about why some appointments were not kept. They made multiple excuses about why calls were lost and plumbers did not come out when they said they would. When they finally just couldn't fix the problem, they made multiple excuses about why they could not refund my money. They are good at making apologies but not acting to correct the problems. They also seemed to be very eager to cover their backside about the stains on my basement ceiling which occurred after they started working on my sewer drain.

After almost two weeks of trying to get my sewer cleared, and failing to show after multiple promises, I finally called another company who came out and fixed the problem in short, efficient order. I still have a damaged ceiling to repair and a very high bill from Clearview work that was supposed to be guaranteed "or it's free". In my experience, that's merely a promise to make them look good.

I am completely unimpressed, I will NEVER call this company again, NEVER recommend them and feel this company is very good at advertising, and apologizing but leave a lot to be desired when it comes to workmanship, communication and their useless "guarantee". Clearview plumbing needs to stop ripping off Calgarians.

By the way, their advertised 'sewer cleaning special' is $99 for regular homeowners, but as a landlord I was charged $666. Nice bias, Clearview.

I have always had an execellent service from Clearview Plumbing & Heating. Damien, the technician they sent for the service was extremly professional, very knowledgable and took time to explain and answer my questions. I had my ducts cleaned through another company few years ago, but this time to my surprise - Damien actully took time to show me the amount of contruction debris that was left behind in the cold air return, which needed to be cleaned out, though this was not part of his work that was performed - he actually took time and cleanded it all up by vacuum cleaner. I was very Impressed.
THank you for doing such a wonderful job and going above and beyond your call of duty. I would not deal with anyone else but Clearview Plumbing, and I strongly recommend Clearview. in case if you needing any service work done.
