A-Action Furnance Inc

We called around to a number of companies regarding an air conditioner. Ultimately, we settled on Action Furnace due to our comfort with the salesperson as well as the good deal he was offering us (including 10 year parts and labour warranty). They came on time for the install were very clean when performing their work. My only complaint at this stage was that it took far longer than they had originally said it would (probably almost 7-8 hours total). However, they got it up and running and it cooled our home properly which was our ultimate goal. There was a slight issue with the electrical inspection following the installation, but they have indicated that they will be coming back to correct the problem.

I was referred to action furnace by a colleague, however my experience was not as good as his. A list of things we were not satisfied with:
- difficult to set up appointment with sales guy (should have warned us)
- Furnace dd not go into second stage. Tech came by and said had to order a part. When another tech came by a week later, he said the part was not required, the just forgot to put a switch in the correct position during installation.
- Carpet around drain was stained, carpet cleaners were hired by action furnace to clean
- walls were banged, owner repaired. (note that the owner made 3 appointments to come by and check out damage, but on the first two he just didn't show up.
- due to problems with furnace the duct cleaning had to rescheduled.

With all these problems, we had to be at home quit often for people to come by (about 10 times, which is quite a lot if you both have daytime jobs)

Note that the installation itself was done in one day, installers arrived on time. Also, we did not have problems with the water tank and after all the furnace seems to work correctly now.
