Took advantage of some great pricing and had them install a 4 ton American Standard system in our new home. Brian was great to deal with and offered a lot of information as well as his personal recommendations but did not force us to take anything we didn't want to. His installers were very nice and professional and installed the whole system in only a few hours and just in time for the 1st heat wave of the summer. We would not hesitate to recommend Stouffville Home & Comfort to our friends & family.

Installed last summer, yearly maintenance this week. Our American Standard central unit runs like a charm, and it's very quite. It also doesn't need to run very often as Stouffville H&C sized it perfectly. When it came time to replace our previous Trane unit, it hadn't occurred to me to consider American Standard until I checked the test scores at Consumers Reports.com, it was at that point I realized that some of the other name brands that we associate with quality aren't actually that well perceived in surveys and test by CR. I decided at that point to go with American Standard and 1 year later, I have no regrets.

We had our air conditioning replace by Stouffville Home & Comfort. They arrived on time and were able to replace our unit without any damage to the finished basement.. The unit was professionally installed and works very well. They even took care of our rebate application. I would recommend them without reservation.

Met Brian from SH&C at Newmarket Home Show. Was suitably impressed that we abandoned our plan to look at other suppliers. Attention to detail was fantastic. Install was 4 days after we ordered. Dave is one of those rare contractors these days who does not make you feel like he's doing you a favour by turning up on time, being friendly and professional, and doing the job right. I know that cleaning a dryer vent doesn't sound like a big deal but this wasn't an ordinary dryer vent -- we had poor access, poorly constructed venting (which he fixed), and a ceiling fan that had been wrongly spliced into the dryer vent and so was diminishing the efficiency of the vent (and filling the cavity with lint!). Dave, who came with his equally professional and friendly son, was wonderful and very fair with his pricing despite working long and hard (around 2 hours!) to complete the job. Thanks Dave, I wish there were more tradespeople like you out there!

annual maint- nothing else to say except Brian and his team are professionals. They came early, spent 30-40 mins going through maintenace checks and ensuring that everything checked out ok.

Furnace and AC install - I also had both the furnace and AC replaced by Brian and his team two years ago. Brians installs high quality american standard stuff at competitive prices and really knows what he is doing. He was great at explaning things to me and doing an excellent and clean instalation. I would highly recommend Brian and his crew to anyone looking for a new AC or furnace.

After having spoken to many AC companies on the phone and at the National Home Show. Everyone told that I needed a 3 ton AC unit based on the square footage of my house. But Brian actually took the time to qualify me and ask me what my expectations were for my ideal home temperature during the hottest days of the summer.

After this conversation, he recommended that I go with a 3.5 ton AC unit based on my requirements. This was totally refreshing to see as I was expecting the classic "Cookie Cutter" sales pitch.
Brian even recommended a 5 inch media filter because he discovered during our conversation that my wife has bad allergies.

The installation went very well. Paul and Demetri were both courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Afer my AC install, I had a question regarding the Lennox XC14 and my HRV VanEE unit and Brian called me back right away and he helped me solve the issue.

All in all, I am very impressed with Brian and his team from the beginning to the end.

Prior to hiring Stouffville Home & Comfort to replace my HVAC system (furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, air cleaner, thermostat and chimney reline that was required to maintain the existing gas fired water heater), I read other reviews on Homestars and consulted with a previous customer. I was very pleased to see that they lived up to their reputation.
The crew arrived at the allocated time of 9:30am and removed the old system, installed and tested the new system and left a clean worksite by 4:15 that afternoon.
