Responded to "no heat" very quickly. The problem was assessed quickly and we were given several options for repair. We chose a new furnace which was installed later that same day.No mess was left behind. All of this done by Skype as we were on holiday out of Canada. Only negative would have been when they called us to ask the size of A/C when they could have gone outside and just looked. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I called Medair because I felt like my furnace wasn't heating our home sufficiently. I figured I would try duct cleaning before I go and replace the whole unit. Dave showed up on time and ready to get to work. he took at few minutes to answer my questions about what he does and how it works. upon inspection of my home and a few cold air return vents it was discovered how absolutely full and filthy they were! after understanding how the system works I makes sense why my I thought my furnace was not working properly. after over 2 hours of through cleaning of all my vents (even the ones I didn't know existed) he showed me the difference and it was remarkable. finding all sorts of "artifacts" in my ducts from 50+ years ago! Ever since, my house has been less dusty, I haven't had a scratchy throat like I had started to notice and a huge increase in air flow.

Installation (July 2010) - Brian and his team installed my American Standard air conditioner and TruSteam humidifier efficiently. His whole team was friendly and trustworthy. Their prices are not the rock-bottom lowest, but you get their service and reputation, which is worth the slightly higher prices.

Yearly furnace maintenance - this year Mitchel came out for the furnace maintenance job. He was professional, prompt, and great to talk with. I'll keep using Stouffville Home and Comfort for my yearly maintenance.

Our house was quite in need of a new air conditioner so we shopped around in Markham including contacting Stouffville Home & Comfort Ltd. for a quote. We met Brian, the company spokesperson who provided us with a fair estimate and a date for installation.
The technicians who installed the A/C were also employees of Stouffville Home and Comfort Ltd, not sub-contractors. They were very professional, clean and were able to answer all my concerns.

The service was very good and the technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. Did his job in explaining his notes on the furnace. One improvement I would suggest to the company is that if they were going to be late, they should call the client up so that the client doesn't have to and is left wondering if they will be coming or not. Common courtesy.

We met Brian Ripchensky at a home show and thought he was very professional and knowledgeable. When we were ready to buy an air conditioner we included Brian on our short list.
