There was water coming into our basement in a particular spot which Slaw agreed to fix for the above price. It is about 5-6 feet in length and was worked on 11 July 2022. Now, there is absolutely no change in the amount of water that kept on coming in through the exact the same location. There is a 20 year warranty on this job and we hope to have Slaw contact us or be receptive to our request when we call him about this in due course. We are only waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. Sorry, no photo can be added as Slaw never sent us any even after digging and finding a crack on the concrete underneath.

We had our basement flooded in early spring. Slaw was recommended by another contractor. They solved the problem which was clogged weeping tile. They replaced it and waterproofed basement wall.
They came on time and did good and clean job.
And most important we have dry basement :) Thanks Slaw!

During the big ice storm we had earlier this year, there was a massive flood in our basement. It started in the crawl space and spread into the main area of the basement. We searched online and called a bunch of places, but they were all fully booked and didn’t have any appointments for days due to the storm and the amount of flooding. We finally found Slaw and his company Megacity Waterproofing and he and another member of his team came quickly to clean and fix our problem.

We didn’t know at the time that our sump pump wasn’t working. So after getting rid of all the water and cleaning up Slaw replaced the old sump pump and got everything working properly again. Hi Quan. It's Peter from next door. Was hoping to talk to you outside as I see your card on the road. Can you please speak to your general contractor to ensure his trades respect some common sense. This morning the stucco guy at 6am was taking apart his scaffolding, making all kinds of noise. Also, not sure which trade it is, but many times have happened that in middle of weekday some guys are blasting music while they work which even the woman on the other side of my house hears inside her place. He has to tell his trades this is not an empty subdivision.

After the intense 3 days of Freezing rain, sleet, and rain with 60KM + wind water started coming in from crack in my foundation wall in my unfinished portion of my basement. After calling Mega City Waterproofing Slav came out "the same day" to check it out and promised to come back in 3 days and in doing so did a great job at a very reasonable price. Very honourable man and would highly recommend his service.

Slav does a great job. I am very happy with the work he did for me and my house is now 100% dry. He takes all the right steps and process to do it right the first time with a minimal amount of mess. I would highly recommend him.

Slav is very personable and very concerned that he is doing a good job. He is more flexible than his competitors:

- He tried very hard to work around our air conditioner but in the end he had to have it disconnected and reconnected. He took care of this quickly at a reasonable cost. The other bidders insisted that I arrange to disconnect and reconnect without trying to work around it.
- one bidder refused to re-install the patio slabs! I realize that I will have to re-level my patio next year since the ground will move but at least Slav put them back down.
- rather than charge you upfront; Slav will advise you of extra charges if they occur.He took 2 loads of compacted dirt and trash that were buried at the foundation to the dump for me and I paid him.

Lastly, he was very good with my elderly mother who lives at the house. He was very patient after a long day's work and assured her that her cat would not fall in any holes :)

There's been water seepage into my basement over the past two years, from two cracks on my foundation beside the basement windows. I finally got it fixed this year following research on costs and solution options from last year. By the time I decided last year, many of the companies were super busy to schedule work in my house, so I decided to start early this year.

I searched around several companies advertised in early spring. I took about 5 bids. Slav came as scheduled and took the time to explain his process on how to fix my cracks, and offered a bid. Though his was not the cheapest, his kind demeanor and explanation gave me confidence to select him. I met with others who are mere sales people of larger companies, but do not really offer know how and concern for my specific issue. Slav is not only the owner of his small company, but also the one who does the work.

He came with another co-worker, Mark, and finished the digging, sealing and tidying up of the work area. They finished in one day as promised, and I totally satisfied with his work. What I like the most is that his work is tidy. Arrived to a clean alleyway (where the work was to be done), and left it in the same clean and neat condition. He completed the work just last week, and I look forward to the rain this week to ensure there are no more water leaks. If there are, which I highly doubt, his guarantee will address any further work that would need to be done, but I am confident it is super sealed and dry.

I do not hesitate to recommend Slav. He is dependable, offers competitive pricing, but more importantly, a man of his word, and a very tidy worker.

Slav did a wonderful job. He showed up when he said he was going to and because there was a gas meter near the dig, he brought 2 guys in to do the dig manually to ensure no lines were hit and that they would be completed the same day. It would have never been done with only 1 person. They dug all the way to the weeping tile and found that my weeping tiles were clogged. He replaced the weeping tile in that area and double waterproofed the wall. In the end, everything was laid back as it was. He also politely advised that I change the weeping tile around the entire house as the clogging would just get worse, but never pushed for the sell. He just informed me to make my own decision. Great great person to work with for a very great price.

Mega City Waterproofing did really good work along two walls of my home. Slav came out and gave a quote that was substantially less than what other companies quoted me. He also recommended a superior product (Blueskin rather than tar), and charged me only the price of the materials to upgrade. Then Slav and Tom came out exactly when they said they would. They were clean, polite, efficient and left the worksite in great shape every day. They completed the whole job in just under three days. Throughout, I had complete confidence in their knowledge and skills. Slav also noticed that I needed some concrete taken up at the back of the house, and offered to break it up and haul it away just for his cost at the dump. What a lovely thing to do! These guys are pros, and I have no hesitation recommending them to others. Granted, the work just got done, so I can't give you a sense of how the work holds over time. Well, the weatherman says there are four days of rain coming up, so we'll see!
