Appreciably, this outstanding credit is not a sizeable value however, I was hopeful of applying it to a new area carpet.
3 voicemails and 1 email have disappointingly not yet been acknowledged.
The store has since moved and I have no other means by which to contact Livingston Carpets.....
Should Gary or the very kind Bernie Livingston read this message I would like them to know I am anxious to exercise my credit option on an area carpet and remain hopeful I will be contacted.

I called Livingston carpet to get a price on new carpet for our 3 rooms in the basement and stairs. We were looking for a certain kind of carpet and the salesman knew exactly we wanted. There were a couple styles to choose from which was nice. Since they apparently don’t work on commission we were able to work out a price we were happy with. We chose an install date and went ahead with it. The installers got there early in the morning and went right to work. They were very fast and everything looks great. The only thing is they didn’t take away the garbage bags and old carpet like we thought they would. So we called back and the delivery guy picked it up the next day. Will use them again when we do the bedrooms.

I have had Livingston Carpets install carpet and laminate floors in a number of my rental condos over the years. Every time I get a fair price and quick, professional service. I will continue to use Livingston's in the future when we need to replace our carpets or laminates.

We just bought our townhouse and needed to replace the carpeting. Livingston's came and gave a good quote for the carpet in the bedrooms and the hardwood on the main level. Once we signed the deal it was a week later the installation went ahead. The carpet installer Raheel was very good and took his time. The hardwood guys were young and I wasn't sure about them. But they are a family of installers and they were amazing. They even suggested a custom nosing that turned out really well. I'd recommend this company to others

We had handscrapped hardwood installed on the entire first floor, about 950 square feet. It took the better part of a week to complete the job. We had ceramic tiles to remove first, which took a lot of time. It was a messy process but the installers did a good job taping the area off. The installer Steve suggested some custom stair nosing work and it turned out really nice. The guys were careful and polite. They did a really nice job.

The day after they finished we heard a dripping from the washer and dryer. We called Gary and he came right out to see us. Apparently one of the washer hoses was worn. He went out and bought a new one and installed it on the spot – no charge! Thanks for the great install and better service. It's hard finding good work like Gary's crew did.

We wanted to renovate the basement with new carpet and vinyl floor. Livingston's has done work in this house and our other house over the years. We had them install new carpet in the family room and vinyl plank in the balance. The installers Steve and Justin were great and worked with us on a few changes we wanted to make with the vinyl. Along with the other work we did in the basement the floors look great. Livingston's has done a super job again.

Area carpet cleaning (approx 8x12 ft): visited showroom, put deposit, timing of pick-up. Tried to pick-up in a.m when I was not home, had indicated 12-4 pm on invoice. He came back 3 pm, was rolled up, tied, ready to go. Two weeks later for return, same day a Friday 1-4. I went to store and paid final balance two days earlier. Delivery guy confused = did I pay or not? Phoned store to confirm. Odd since I had talked with him while I was paying two days prior.
Left in roll at front door as per request, since we were staging and moving furniture. Once opened, it looked like NO cleaning had even been done! I bought brush tool and carpet cleaning solution and c,earned it myself. Supreme waste of $$$! Not professional in showroom or the delivery. Out of touch wit Custoner Service in 2016!

We contracted Livingston Carpets to perform hardwood flooring for our entire house. The total cost was $21,500 of which we were asked to pay a down payment of $6500.

According to our agreement, the delivery of the hardwood was to be done on July 21st, with the work commencing on July 25th.

On July 21st, no one called to coordinate a time so we contacted them and left a message. Gary from Livingston called back a few hours later to now advise that the project was delayed by 1 day and that the delivery of the wood would now be July 25th, with the project commencing July 26th.

On July 25th, once again, no one called to coordinate a time for delivery so I called the store and got voice mail. I left a message. I then called the home number that had been provided by Bernie, the owner who had handled the deal with us personally, and left a message with the person who answered the phone. She said she would pass along the message to Bernie. No one called back.

On July 26th, my husband drove down to the store at 5PM, prior to 7PM (store closing) and discovered it was closed, at which point we contacted Visa to explore our recourse.

I opted to give them a few more days to respond.

On the evening of July 26th, I went to the website to learn that it now displayed that they were moving (no new address was noted) and I sent them a message via their "contact us" webmail.

As no-one responded, I thought it best to proceed with a Visa dispute as I had no confidence that the merchant had any intention to deliver on this contract.

Shame on you for trying to swindle honest people! Lesson learnt here is to contract out your projects to big reputable companies and pay with credit card. Thank you for the inconvenience and aggravation. Fortunately, Visa settled the dispute and our $6500 was reimbursed.

I ordered hardwood flooring from Livingston Carpet & Flooring and paid the full amount. I was told my flooring would be ready in 1-2 weeks. When I tried calling a week later all of my calls went unanswered and when I drove by the store I discovered they were closed. I contacted the flooring manufacturer who told me that no order was placed by the store.

They took my money and never fulfilled the order.

The retail space is now for lease - and their landlord has locked them out.

We had a wool blended carpet in our family room for 15 years and it needed to be replaced due to wear and tear. The long life and excellent quality of the former carpet convinced us to go with a commercial grade wool blend once more even though it was on the pricey side. Livingston carpet installed it about a year ago and within 6 months it started to wear. The carpet fibers started to lift off the carpet and ball. Passing your hand a quarter inch above the carpet you can feel all the fibers lifting off. In high traffic areas the patter actually started disappearing after 8 months. Remember, this carpet was specifically rated commercial for high traffic areas. When we first started noticing an issue we contacted Livingston carpet immediately. They eventually sent a representative from the carpet manufacturer and a Livingston salesman to inspect the carpet. The representative first commented that we were not vacuuming enough. Once we informed the rep we vacuumed the carpet once a week he changed his excuse to our vacuuming was excessive. He then advised us not to move our feet so much on the carpet. Anyway he said he would contact the factory and see it there had been a recall. Long story short we must have phoned Livingston over 20 times in the last 4 months requesting status. Each time the Livingston sales rep answered he was apologetic and promised to follow up with the carpet manufacturer and call us back. He never once called us back. Livingston Carpet was a complete disaster and I regret the day I walked into their store. The product they sold us was defective and their customer service was not only bad, it was insulting.
