Unprofessional, unskilled, unscrupulous individual who completely misrepresented himself and his abilities with false bathroom renovation pictures that he claimed he had done. A 4 week project took 4 months. The majority of payment was requested within the first 3 weeks and little actual work had yet been completed. At this point, I refused to pay anything further. Had I not paid as much as I did by that time, I would have fired him but I hoped to salvage and recover work already paid for. I was to get a written guarantee for the work but never got one. He had lots of personal drama and woes, most of which were probably concocted. No shows, late show ups at noon, sick family, death in family, car trouble, showing up but not working, bringing unqualified workers to perform jobs that were not their area of expertise or even knowledge and the list goes on and on endlessly. When he did show up, he sat around most of the day on his phone, smoking, sitting in his van and would disappear for the majority of the day claiming depression and mental issues. . His workers, in his absence would tell me that work already done by him was substandard or not done correctly. He told them that someone else had completed the work before him!! Following eventual completion after over 4 months of this nonsense, 2 bathrooms are now leaking after a month following completion. I've texted him many times to come to fix outstanding and post renovation issues and he’d provide days he would be here to resolve but he would never show up. When I called or texted to see if he intended to come, it was ignored with no response. I learned during this nightmare that he had legal action being taken against him by other customers who had flooding and major issues with their projects. He holds himself unaccountable and is completely unethical. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!!!

We contracted Livingston Carpets to perform hardwood flooring for our entire house. The total cost was $21,500 of which we were asked to pay a down payment of $6500. According to our agreement, the delivery of the hardwood was to be done on July 21st, with the work commencing on July 25th. On July 21st, no one called to coordinate a time so we contacted them and left a message. Gary from Livingston called back a few hours later to now advise that the project was delayed by 1 day and that the delivery of the wood would now be July 25th, with the project commencing July 26th. On July 25th, once again, no one called to coordinate a time for delivery so I called the store and got voice mail. I left a message. I then called the home number that had been provided by Bernie, the owner who had handled the deal with us personally, and left a message with the person who answered the phone. She said she would pass along the message to Bernie. No one called back. On July 26th, my husband drove down to the store at 5PM, prior to 7PM (store closing) and discovered it was closed, at which point we contacted Visa to explore our recourse. I opted to give them a few more days to respond. On the evening of July 26th, I went to the website to learn that it now displayed that they were moving (no new address was noted) and I sent them a message via their "contact us" webmail. As no-one responded, I thought it best to proceed with a Visa dispute as I had no confidence that the merchant had any intention to deliver on this contract. Shame on you for trying to swindle honest people! Lesson learnt here is to contract out your projects to big reputable companies and pay with credit card. Thank you for the inconvenience and aggravation. Fortunately, Visa settled the dispute and our $6500 was reimbursed.

After hunting for about a year unsuccessfully to have someone come in to give us a cost estimate to replace our A/C and furnace, we found Spring Home. We placed a call without expecting a response, as this had been our experience to date with the other services we had contacted. Imagine our surprise when we got a call back from Terry, Spring Home's customer consultant, the same afternoon! Terry came to give us an estimate within 2 days and within the week, the work was completed, all within a day! Total turnaround time from the initial call to work completion was about a week and a half!! That's impressive!! The staff at Spring Home has been great with post follow up to ensure that everything is working well. Spring Home has my highest confidence and as such, I have rated the entire experience 10 stars!!
