Lee Sheds

My husband and I had a great experience with this company. We visited their location twice before making our final decision. Craig was very helpful in answering our questions. We wanted some minor changes and they were very accommodating. Craig phoned us a week ahead of time so our site would be ready for installation. Justin arrived on the day he stated, but had to leave early because of a thunderstorm. He arrived promptly the next day. All was finished to our satisfaction. He outlined the painting and caulking that we were required to do. (we did not need a floor since it was installed on a concrete base, so caulking was required.) I am finishing the painting and will send a picture once all it done. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring a shed!

Shed was as I expected it to be, Install team was good and did what I expected but buyer beware;

- Despite Ron's (the salesman's) reassurance's 'the process' isn't great. My delivery was late by 1 (and then 0.5) days. I was only informed on the morning of delivery meaning, I cut my pool pump power and pipes a day and a half early. They could/should have known they were going to be that late. So;

- Despite Ron selling me a floor (which I protested I didn't need because it was going on a brand new deck) the floor did not get installed, the install crew told me I didn't need one. Surprise, surprise. I did get a credit on that though.
- Make sure, when you order shingles other than gray or black, you are very specific about the colour. I ordered Forest Green, they came in Gray, Apparently, according to Craig, HH don't make Forest Green anymore, well guess what? I ordered Forest Green, got gray and paid a $35 premium for them!

Long story short - make sure you nail these guys, especially Ron and Craig, down to the fine details or else, they will find 'wiggle room' and you will be disappointed.

On a positive note Jack the installer, stayed late and did a great job.

Recommended only if you are really careful with the fine print, don't expect them to guide you through the process. Like I say, buyer beware.

I am happy with both the service and the product they sell.the small shed coast a fair bit but the quality is there. They didn't take too long.
they guys they sent were clean cut and well dressed. Overall I am happy. I do recommend them.

The shed looks fine. The windows can be propped open in summer to cool the shed. I had to pay someone else to prepare the land below it, which had vines on it beforehand. Also, I painted the floor and exterior, since it came primed. I know that sales of prefab. plastic ones are flying out the door, but I preferred one that is more substantial. It's just the cost is so much more, I'm not sure if it was the right decision. So far it's quite OK.

First of all I gave a rating of 4 only because Im a believer in there always being room to improve. I am pleased to say that in my experience of hiring someone who wasn't recommended by someone personally, my experience with Less sheds exceeded my expectations.
What stood out the most?
1. They were happy to answer my questions.
2. They did a great job and within the desired time frame
3. They were upfront on additional work not included and associated costs
4. They came back out immediately for some very minor adjustments
5. The end product was no less than what I expected

Extremely happy with Lee's sheds. Justin (our installer) arrived on time and within 8 hours our shed was built. We choose the 9x9 Pool Cabana and it fits our space perfectly. Doug the sales guy on Markham Rd was very professional and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend to friends and family!

This is the second garden shed I have contracted Lee Sheds to build.....Workmanship from the 1st shed to the 2nd...no comparison...2nd shed employee arrived late...very late ...missing material...spent most of the morning on cell phone...calling people about his personal broken down truck....he came to door twice and asked for help with parts as they were missing from loaded supply...then informed me he had to leave early to play baseball, and he would not be able to return til the following Sat. (5 days away)...to finish the shed. I called Lee Sheds about this. Then the employee came back after a conversation with Lee Sheds and said he could not come back the next day as he had used his gas mileage up....Owner arrived the next day, and spent 1 and 1/2 hours fixing mistakes and finishing shed ...Owner says every thing is A OK and I paid bill..with credit card...(mistake on my part) Pay Lee Sheds by cheques as then you have control if you have to cancel payment...Next day when I started to paint shed..I find outside covering has screw nails to hold on the siding , quite visable (as workman did not attach siding properly)...also a huge 1/4 inch gap between the roof and facia...Called owner to say, why is there a 1/4 inch gap, and he said "Oh I saw that, I guess you will have to caulk that"...Had to go and purchase other materials (2 strips of prefinished wood 12 foot long) to repair the new shed, (fill in the hole) too large of a gap to caulk full length both sides of the roof...Neighbours have stopped to see shed, and shake their heads at the screw nails on siding...This is in no way compareable in workmanship to the one shed 2 years ago at the lake...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LEE SHEDS TO ANYONE...after this experience....This is very unfortunate as I have told many people in our neighborhood how wonderful my lakeside bunkie is built by Lee Sheds....

We have been very pleased with Lee Sheds. I looked around and contacted several contractors regarding building a cabana and from the day I met with Lee I knew he was the contractor I wanted to deal with. He built us an amazing looking cabana and I constantly find myself looking out the back window at the cabana because it is so nice looking - he did an amazing job. The concrete pad we had poured by another contractor was off by an inch and Lee was able to adjust for it when he built the shed so you can't even tell. I am a bit of a perfectionist and I wanted to make sure this cabana looked impressive and I could not be more pleased. Quality work and a reasonable price!

After reading the reviews below I was very hesitant to order from lee sheds. I looked at other places but I really liked the 10x6 cedar shed they had on display.

I spoke to Ron and he seemed nice enough and I decided to give it a shot . I was bracing for the worst given I am a perfectionist and a civil engineer. I must have called Ron on 4 different occasions and he answered my questions each time.

They came to install the shed the same day they promised. The installer was named mike and he was very friendly, clean and worked 2 full days to get the shed up (8am to 7 pm). The shed looks wonderful and my neighbors have complemented me on it.

I would recommend them.

Overall shed we got was nicely made and what we were looking for. only disappointment I had was not delivered on time that we were expecting, person who came didn't clean up all their mess when they left, and not placed exactly where we wanted our shed. To their defence we had a minor family emergency the day they had come for construction, but we didn't want to reschedule as we were already 2 weeks behind from our original delivery date. As result the exact location may not have been properly communicated as we had to leave house. But the lack of cleanup was really disappointing. Otherwise structure was built as promised.
