Hi!
I was really impressed by the way they promised to do the job in a day and they fulfilled their promise. Ely the carpet installer arrived on time and was able to finish the job as promised in less than 2 hours.
Michael was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this company.

Carpet replace install

Excellent, efficient service with quality product and knowledgeable positive customer service. We had to have carpet replacement following a home flood. Consumer carpet went above and beyond to get our home back to move in ready. Our installer had hands of gold tucking in every corner and answered every query. Thank you again so much. Highly recommend!!

The worst carpet installation

They took the cash from my wife and didn't issue an invoice. The carpet they installed is all wrinkles after a month only. I called Mike to get a warranty repairs and he was very rude and arrogant over the phone . He was making all kind of excuses for the wrinkled carpet, from being installed long time ago to dragging furniture over the carpet. They didn't install tack strips to stretch the carpet and it is loose from the sides and floating. Anyway , they send someone to repair after a week of talks over the phone. The installer came to our house , inspected and said he is going to get the tools from the van. Then he returned in the house with no tools and said they didn't do that job and do not remember this house. Mike remembered over the phone the house and the job very well. Anyway, keep away from Mike and his installers!

two rooms carpet

I have been a repeat customer of Consumers for years. purchased carpets for two different homes. I am always pleased. never had a problem. never bought carpets elsewhere. I go in, make my selection, get a price, pay, make an installation appointment. workers come on time, install, are professional, fast, clean, and I am extremely pleased. today, for two rooms, installation, including removal of old carpet and installing new one and underpadding, took less than two and a half hours I am very satisfied. I never wrote a review for anything I purchased. I am happy to write this one.

Should have read other bad reviews

Bought interior doors after not enough research about the place. Mike, the sales guy, confirmed the 34 doors could be cut and resized to 32 1/2. When we received the doors and cut one, we realized the door is not solid in the middle and cannot be resized beyond 1/2 in each side. We called and asked for a refund as he misinformed us about his product, he said he couldnt issue any refund if the doors cut (we only cut it because he said it works). Mike was extremely impatient and unprofessional since the beginning. I regret proceeding to order from them.

Laminate Flooring

About 3 years ago I bought the german made Kronotek flooring.
I was convinced with the "water resistant" 5 level, that
didn't mean much to me at first.
I have had some water spillage in previous years with
lamanant flooring, and was hesitant to buy it again.

The price was good, and I purchased it to redue our condo in this
laminate.
About 6 months after installation, our HVAC clogged up, and we
had a flood in the living room.
After taking out the baseboards, and setting up the floor fans to dry as much as possible, I was picturing having to do the flooring once again.

In about a week, the water under the flooring was almost gone.
I kept everything open, and there didn't seem like there was any
swelling of the floor planks.
Another week, and I put the baseboards back onto the walls.

Its been more than 2 years since that incident.
There has been no noticeable damage from the flooding.
A couple planks expanded to have a bit of spacing, which I just
filled in with wood filler.
You wouldn't know that I had a flood.

Very happy with the Kronotek product.
Consumer Carpert was great for initial product information,
and their pricing was very good.
I have recommended them to others.

Privacy screen and surround steps for hottub area

We ordered composite boards to complete surround steps and privacy enclosure for our hot tub. The price was fair and the service was great. The rep we dealt with was Mike....he was helpful and quick to reply to our messages and helped in the process of ordered all the right materials for our project. He coordinated all the pick up arrangement with the supplier. When we arrived to pick up our order, it wouldn’t fit in our vehicle. I called Mike and he quickly changed the pick up arrangements for another time.....I didn’t have to worry about a thing!
He was friendly, honest and very helpful.
We will definitely go back to pick up all our materials.

Underlayment

Buyer beware!!!
They advertise their underlayment is Quietwalk the brand name and it is NOT! I spoke to Mike who told me to google quiet walk to look at specs and sound rating and how great they are (which they are) and then tells me he sells it for $0.47 sqft where everyone else sells it for around $0.80 sqft. Deal was great so I fell for it. After I etransfered him the money and he helped load it into my car, I got home and quickly realized it was not Quietwalk. It is an aftermarket product that has their company name on it and he advertises it as “Quiet walk” not one word “Quietwalk”. He is very misleading and I was too ignorant not to look at the product or have him send me a picture of the logo. My fault for believing it was the real thing and not following through. Don’t want anyway else to fall for this misleading b.s. which is why I’m posting this. He does not carry the AUTHENTIC Quietwalk product. Don’t be fooled!!!!!!
