Consumers Carpet

Went to Consumers Carpet and needed an area rug in a rush bound something that would normally take 3 to 4 days was done within hours. They really helped me out and the rug looks great custom fit to my family room will be a loyal customer after that service. Thank you Consumers Carpet!!!

WENT TO CONSUMERS CARPET FOR SOME CARPET TO BE INSTALLED THEY HAD A NO TAX SALE GOING ON AND THEY THREW IN THE UPGRADED UNDER PAD FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONAL VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL WILL BE COMING BACK THANKS AGAIN.

I purchased carpet with installation and needed it done right away.
consumers carpet got me out of jam. Tony got my job measured and installed within a week i was very impressed. the installers were clean and quick. Home depot told me it would take 3 weeks just to measure. I am a customer for life thanks.

consumers carpet has very large selection great prices and great service would totally recommend. A one stop shop we will be back for the laminate in the basement two thumbs up!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

we bought hardwood maple floor from them IN 2015, they have delivered
engineered floor in the exact same colour (except it was bit wider than the one we purchased), so since the floor looks the same as the hardwood floor we bought we did not know about this until it was almost all installed. called them and they can't do anything unless we are going to pay for stripping off the floors and returning it to them!!
also tried to tell us how the engineered wood is more expensive than the hardwood so we should be happy about the product. (what??? for real?? )

Worst Service.. will say or do anything to get your money.

So day 1 i call to see if they have laminate flooring in stock, i was told they did so i drive an hour to get to the store just to find out its not in stock, and will arrive 4 days later unless i pay $50 to have it ready for the next day and I was also told i can exchange the flooring if i decided to in the future.
Day 3 i call back to change the color and was told that the color i wanted would arrive the next morning but i had to drive today to return the old flooring. I did that, turns out i have to pay additional $50 to return the flooring plus they wouldnt take back a box because it was opened. WHAT A JOKE. but i did.
Day 4: i call them in the morning asking the flooring i ordered arrived, which it didnt. I call back later that day, but got no response. I drive to the shop, "sorry flooring would not arrive today".
Today is day 8: i still have no flooring. On top of all of this are refusing refund. Pathetic service.
Day 10: 30% of the hardwood flooring which i bought wasnt straight, the wood wouldnt fit in a perfect manner, a lot of gaps within. They said they would exchange it but not return it. after all these issues, the least they could do is take back 30% of the faulty wood.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. Many better shops around the GTA
These people will do anything to get your money, do not go here. stay away. bunch of phoney people working here

I would not recommend this place. We order laminate floor and after weeks and weeks of delay (and new excuses) we decided to change for another type of laminate. They said they would give us the same price than the other even if it was more expensive. We asked someone to call to found out the "real" price of the our new choice and the guy on the phone gave a cheaper price than our previous floor. When we went them and told them the situation, they just played stupid saying it's not possible and made us understand that they were giving cheaper price on the phone to bring customer in... in any case, you cannot trust the words of these people. I strongly recommend to avoid this place.

Called in advance to purchase a felt underpad for a small area rug. Was told they had my size and cost would be .85 a square foot.
Sent my husband in to purchase. When he got there they didn't know what he was talking about. Said they didn't have felt and cut and sold him a foam chip underpad. (Not suitable for wood floors)
When I called to ask for a clarification, I got nothing but attitude, rudeness. What my husband was misinformed and they did not accept responsibility for their ignorance.
I would not recommend this company or their customer relations!

Dishonest, told me i can return leftover boxes, they would not take them back because they said it is special order. pretty upset. should have made that clear during purchase.
