This was our 2nd purchase & again impressed with the great selection of products & knowledgeable staff (Gerry)! We had researched everything online after recommendations from Gerry & completed our sale by phone. The delivery was quick & everything was set up for us to use right away. The guys made sure we were very happy with everything before leaving. This will continue to be our go to store.

Tried box stores first. No inventory, delivery as late as Jan. Blacks has stock right there. Bought on a Monday, delivered on Tues, installed on Friday. Delivered when said, installer was prompt and on the day he said.
My feeling is much better to support local.

Dealing with FW Black was a perfect experience from the sales person, Gerry to the two delivery fellows. They were careful & professional with everything they did from taking the old stove out to installing the new stove. They explained what I should do before using the stove.

Needed an appliance ASAP! Did everything over the phone in one simple call. Josh was very friendly and quickly got me through the process. The delivery team was on time, and quickly set everything up. No complaints!

When our dishwasher broke, we approached FW Black Appliances to find a replacement because after a brief search online, it was obvious that there were hundreds of choices available and not every model had sufficient information for us to make an educated decision. We made one choice and took it to Gerry who was amazing to work with. He carefully listened to us, showed us the model we choose as well as a few others for comparison purposes, clearly answering all our questions. During the two months it took to receive a dishwasher (due to Covid), he corresponded with us to keep us aware of our order and then put us in touch with an amazing installer who was a delight to work with.

Purchased Frigidaire Gallery Fridge from FW Black to support local business instead of Big Box store. Purchased a 5 year warranty as well. We have had the fridge for 2 yes. Fridge has not worked properly from day one. (Freezes food, spoils food). Have had multiple technicians replace parts with no resolve. The fridge company says it is not their responsibility and FW Black says they can’t do anything more. So 5yr warranty is a joke. We have done business with this store for 25yrs. Now with new ownership the customer service is terrible. I do not recommend Fw BLACK and will never purchase any products from them again. Costco here we come!!

My wife bought a gas stove , wall oven, dishwasher, 36” refrigerator and a microwave with trim kit. (Total $8500) The microwave and trim kit were the wrong size! I returned them to their store March 8 in the original condition and packaging. Neither had been installed. April 10, I
Inquired as to where our refund was. Was told the trim kit was scratched and could not be returned. It was as shipped when I returned it. Furthermore, I had to remind them of their failure to look after this matter in a timely fashion. Now that they insinuate I’m being untruthful re: the condition of the return, I’m a very unsatisfied customer and am willing to let them keep the full $$ of the return.

We were having problems with our Miele dishwasher not working. Called Miele to get number of service rep in our area. We were given the contact info for a company near Toronto and tried unsuccessfully for 6 weeks to book an appointment or to even get a response..... no luck. Contacted FW Black in Kingston, and even though their policy is to service only Miele appliances which they have sold, they kindly agreed to help us out, and sent out a tech who repaired our dishwasher. Thank you F W Black Ltd. - we appreciate your help and you have made loyal customers of us.

I purchased a fisher and Paykel refrigerator RF 170 W model with a stainless steel finish. It was installed correctly and I love it except the finish on the fridge is so delicate that it scratches very easily. Not a good thing for a appliance that you use regularly.
I had the fridge for barely over a week and I scratched it so easily by just removing a tiny magnet.Had I known how delicate it was I would never have bought this model because of the finish
